"Hey.. Lady!?"

The trucker was shaking her awake.

"We're in Sacramento. I'll let you out here. Have a safe rest of the trip!" The trucker smiled at her.

Acclie rubbed her eyes and stumbled out of the cab. "Thanks. You too." The semi pulled away. Acclie could see her high-rise condo from the elevated Interstate. She ran to the nearest exit and sprinted down the slope. Running and pushing through people walking to work was difficult.

Acclie soon arrived at her condo. She shoved against the heavy revolving door. She was so weak!

Nothing seemed suspicious as Acclie stepped into the elevator. Acclie assumed everyone thought she was dead.

The elevator dinged, and she ran out of it. Acclie ran her hand on the frame of her protruding condo door. Her hand found the cold metal of her spare key. Yes! Acclie was happy to find it. Her hands trembled as she jammed her key into the lock. She was relieved as she fell into the condo door. The familiar smell of Febreeze welcomed her. The spacious and contemporary living room made her feel warm.

A cold voice snapped her out of the daze.

"We've been waiting for you...."

Acclie was horrified as she saw Dr. Conoroy, Michelle, and Sylvia sitting on her couch.

Oh my God...

"I think it's time you be committed into that asylum we talked about, eh, Acclie?" Dr. Conoroy gave a decieving smile.

Acclie turned and peeled out of doorway. As she turned down the hallway, she saw a huge, muscular turn the corner and step in her way. "No, no!" Acclie screamed.

Acclie looked at the other halway. Another man that looked exactly the same as the other was blocking that route too. "Please no..." Acclie whispered to herself.

Michelle appeared in her doorway. "Let's go, bitch. It's about time we take you where you belong." Sylvia and Michelle grabbed her arms.

I'm done trying.

Acclie wished Red was still with her. Red would hug her and tell that everything was gonna be okay. Acclie started crying.

"Awwh, how sad! Poor Acclie's crying." Michelle and Sylvia laughed cruely. "Now stop, bitch."

Instead, Acclie didn't. She cried harder.

Just then, Michelle and Sylvia released Acclie's arms.

"ACCLIE!?"

Acclie collapsed to the floor as she saw Karra and Chris turn the corner of the hallway.

"Don't save me... It's not worth getting hurt over. I'm nothing anymore! Save your energy and find Red....." Acclie's voice trailed off.

Karra was trying to plow through the huge man blocking her way. "NO!!!!!!!! NO!!!!!! ACCLIE!" Karra screamed as the gaurd threw her to the ground.

Dr. Conoroy strolled out of Acclie's condo. "Bob, good work. Keep that side blocked. Sylvia and Michelle, grab her and let's go." Dr. Conoroy walked behind Michelle, Sylvia, and Acclie.

"KARRA! HELP ME! HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Acclie screamed as loud as she could.

"I will!......." Karra's screams were the last things she heard.

As they came out of the elevator, Acclie started struggling against Michelle and Sylvia. "Let me go!"

"Shut up," Michelle spat.

And with that, Acclie's hands were cuffed behind her back, and her mouth duct-taped shut. She was thrown into the back of a black SUV.

This is it. My good-bye. I never did anything right.

As she closed her eyes and held her breath as long as she could to hopefully suffocate herself, Alex's profile was pinned to her vision.

"What the hell happened to her!?"

"Who knows. She must've thought killing herself was better than being committed."

"She isn't dead! She can't be! Wake her up!"

Acclie was being dragged into a huge, Victorian-style building that seemed to stretch forever. It had 3 stories with windows that towered over her.

Killing myself didn't work, God damn it!

Acclie felt tortured. Hopefully they were taking her into a hanging chamber.

"Huh. Told you. See? The stupid bitch is up." She felt a scrawnny hand cup her chin and lift her head up.

Acclie smelt a musty smell as they entered the parlor of the asylum.

These people really think I'm crazy.....

"Acclie Thompson." She heard Sylvia say to the receptionist at the desk.

Michelle took the cuffs off her wrists and untaped her mouth.

Acclie rubbed her wrists.with a sense of relief.

"Room 401. You can find it." The receptionist had a squeaky and perky voice.

Soon enough, Michelle and Sylvia found room 401 and threw Acclie into it. "See you bitch. Have fun in here, getting looked at like you're a Crazy. You'll be getting out of here in, what, maybe 5 years? Don't forget your meds! Toodles!" Michelle and Sylvia left her there.

There was a curtain separtaing Acclie's space from her roommate's.

Acclie pulled herself up and quietly slid the curtain over. Her heart stopped.

Laying uncomfortably on his bed, Alex looked over at her. Almost every limb he had was covered in casts. His face was red and purple, covered with bruises.

"Alex?"

Alex blinked.

Acclie gasped and started crying. He was here!?

Alex opened his mouth.

"Did I Ever Mention... You're still beautiful?"
