The door creaked as Shay slipped through the crack it had created, Shay with no plan in mind slowly shut the door walking away from the stupid house he called " home." The 12 year old boy never knew what "home" was supposed to mean, " Home is where my dad comes home drunk yelling at mommy and me" He would say to his older brother who could never help. He just wanted to take Shay away from the awful place, and to a place Shay could call home, to a place where they could both feel safe. Shay was a young boy no taller than 5" ft, with brown hair, grey eyes , and pale skin, he often got called "bitch", "stupid", "girl", etc. His brother Jason who is 14, was almost 6"ft, with black hair, blue eyes, and tan skin, he tries sticking up for Shay and ends up in fights a lot. Their father was a cruel man who beat Shay and their mother till they were bruised and bleeding. The mother was a beautiful woman with a strong head as well as a loving heart who protected Shay and Jason as much as possible.
