Chapter 26

Mike POV

Today, I was setting everything up for the dinner I'm having for Elijah. I'm celebrating her birthday today, even though it was days ago but my baby deserves a proper celebration. She doesn't know this is happening. I invited Rayan, Craig, Jacob, Chresanto, Bobby, and Jeff to this dinner. It's being held at some restaurant that she loves and I really want to make this special. So today I gave Isaac to my mom. Elijah was out with Craig, Chresanto, and Jeff so I'm out with Ray, Bobby, and Jacob to get her gift. We were at the mall, just strolling around.

"So we are here to looking for a present for Elijah. And I don't know what to get her." Ray said, out loud for everyone to hear him.

"Just get her some nice clothes or something." I suggested.

"But I don't know what kind of clothes she be wearing. Like do I get her sweats or a shirt or socks?" Me, Jacob, and Bobby busted out laughing.

"If you give her socks, she will be hella mad at you." Jacob chuckled out.

"Aye, you shouldn't even be worried about what you going to give her, Ray. The only person that should be worried is Mike." Bobby said and I scoffed.

"Man, I already know what to get her. So don't worry about me." I waved them off like a bunch of haters.

"Oh really? Then what is she getting?" Ray asked, folding his arms, getting in my face.

"And it better be good cause that is your fiance." Jacob said, reminding me.

I pushed Ray out of my face. "There's going to be two parts to my gift. The first part is going to be like a bracelet or a ring. I don't know. I already ordered it but I forgot. And the second part is me and her in the house all alone, after the party, have music on a little, turning off the lights, probably going to me doing a little---" I started but I was cut off by Ray covering his ears and closing his eyes.

"TMI! TMI! TMI!!! That was way to much information for me." Ray yelled.

"Well you asked." I reminded them.

"Yeah but not that much though. That was just plain up nasty." Jacob shivered in disgusting-ness.

"Whatever." I chuckled and walked in to Jareds Jelwery Store to get Elijah's present.

7:00 o'clock, at Herbin's Resturant........

I was at the restaurant, making sure everything was looking perfect before Elijah came. I had on a red button down shirt with dark blue jeans and my red and white Jordan 11. Iwas putting everything in its right places when Rayan and Craig came in with Rayan's arm wrapped around Craig's shoulders.

"Wassup nigga." Rayan came up to me and we did our little handshake. I went over and Craig and gave her a hug.

"So you finally decided what to get Elijah?" I turned to Ray.

"No. When we left the mall, I picked up Craig and we went to the mall and she helped me out." Ray said, pointing at the gift that Craig was holding.

"Basically this is my gift for Elijah and Rayan just wanted to say that he got it with me and put his name on it." Craig said, confirming the truth.

"Technically, I was with you when you purchased the item so I deserve my name on that gift. She should be happy I didn't buy a birthday card with no money in it." Rayan muttered. I was about to say something but Jacob and Bobby walked in.

"Aye, where's Jeff and Chres?" Craig asked.

"Oh, Chres should be coming in right now and Jeff is with Elijah." Bobby said, setting his gift on the present table.

"Did you tell Jeff to bring her by at least 7:05?" I asked, looking at Bobby.

"Yeah man. She said they're coming in a few minutes." Bobby said, coming back to the group.

"Ight man. Cause I don't want nothing stupid to happen."

"But it's not going to happen, Mike. They are on they're way now."

Right when I was about to say something, Jeff and Elijah walked in with Chresanto.

"So are we going to start this party or what?" Jeff yelled. We all looked over and saw Chres, Jeff, and Elijah was just standing there.

"Happy birthday, Elijah!!" Jacob, Bobby, and Rayan yelled all at once. I shook my head and went to Elijah.

"Happy birthday, baby." I said after kissing her lips.

"You know its not my birthday."

"I know but I just wanted to give you this special celebration for your birthday."

"But we already celebrated with Isaac at home."

"That was the pre-celebration. This is the real one. C'mon let's have some fun and plus my present is a two parter so be ready when we get home tonight." I grabbed her hand and lead her to the table where everybody was sitting at. We ordered our food and just talked the whole night. We gave out present with me gong last. We stayed for a little while and then left. When we got home, I gave Elijah's second present and she loved it so much, she wanted even more.

I have writers block for this story so I didn't know what I was doing for this chapter. I also got a new phone so yeah. I didn't really lit that much effort in this chapter so enjoy.
