Forgotten Champion (REWRITE)

Ch 3

Over the last 6 years Ash had kept tabs on all his traveling buddies. Gary was the new Professor of Kanto, Misty became an elite 4, May and Dawn were sharing the title as top coordinator, Max was the Hoenn, Serena was the Kalos queen, Bonnie was a Kalos elite 4, and finally Calem was Kalos Champ. But they weren't the only big people at the tournament. Ash became Jhoto champion and his friend Jared was the Alola champion. But also at the tournament was Sinnoh champ Cynthia.

As the boat docked on a Melemele island dock, the reporters rushed over to start talking to the elite 4 and champions on the boat. As they rushed over Mr.Goodshow rushed over and told them that a press conference would be held later. Everyone was relieved that the reporters were held off. As Ash's old traveling companions walked off the boat they recognized the Jhoto Champion Red and the Alola Champion Jared were walking and talking as friends. They all rushed up to they two champion because they were the two most distant champions. "Hey Red and Jared" said Bonnie. The two champs looked startled. "Oh..... hey, Bonnie is it?" said the red headed champion. "Ya, I love watching you guys battle" said Bonnie. Then everyone else nodded. "Thanks Bonnie" said the raven haired trainer. "...... hey guys wait up" said a distant voice. Everyone looked back and running up to them was Lillie and Katlyn (my oc). " Jared, Red this our friends Lillie and Katlyn, Lillie is an assistant to Professor Kuiki and Katlyn is from Kalos and is one of the Kalos elite four" said Dawn. But as Katlyn looked at Jared she blushed. "well we got to get to the press conference" said Jared quickly.

As everyone sat down at the press conference, the first question was asked. "So Jared how does it feel being back in your home Alola and what pokemon are you planning on using" said a reporter. " Well it feels great being back and I can't tell you" said Jared. "Red, do you think Jared is your biggest challenge to face when it comes to this tournament" said another reporter. Ash simply said yes. when it came to the final question as soon as it was asked everyone cringed. "Umm... Serena can you tell us anything about Ash Ketchum's disappearance" said one very brave reporter. After the question was asked Serena started bawling and Jared said no further questions. As they left the press conference everyone wanted to make sure Serena was alright. As Ash was walking to make sure she was ok, Jared, Pikachu, and Lucario, were all laughing there butts off and they were making hearts around Ash and Serena. After making sure Serena was ok, Ash had to go to his Battle.

At Ash's Battle.....

As Ash walked onto the battle field he saw his opponent who was very accomplished he came in the final 4 in Kanto and Hoenn and the final 2 in Sinnoh. " Ok this a 2v2 battle between Zakku of Pewter city and Red of Goldenrod City, Battle begin" said the ref. Ash lookedat his opponent he saw spirt and joy. "Ok slowbro lets go" said Zakku. As then removed Decicueyes pokeball and called for him to use razor leaf. "Slowbro dodge and use water pulse" "take it" was all that Ash said. After water pulse hit ash told Decidueye to use shadow ball. "slowbro dodge it please" said Zakku. But shadow ball hit and instantly knocked out Slowbro. "Grrr. well you asked for it lets go Ninetails" said Zakku. "Decidueye use Leafage" said Ash. As Leafage hit Ninetails looked really weak. " Ok Ninetails use dark pulse into flamethrower" said Zakku. "take it and them use shadow sneak" said Ash. As both moves hit Decidueye, he looked slightly tired, but to its trainers command used shadow sneak and knocked out Ninetails. "Darn, but at least I was taken out by a champion and your gonna go far Red, and thanks for a good battle" said Zakku. "Your welcome Zakku and maybe we can have a rematch on day" said ash. Zakku nodded his head and they both walked there separate ways.
