Hope Edison is a sixteen year old who lives in a small town in New York called Rhinebeck. She has a big heart and even larger dreams. Being from a small town, she seemingly knew everyone. Driving down the street on a sunny afternoon, Hope notices something. A new family showed their faces to the town, which did not happen often. Hope was very interested in meeting the new family, but they lived across town. Maybe another time, Hope thought to herself. "Mom, where are you?," Hope yelled, after she pulled into the driveway in her 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee. "I'm in the back picking weeds, honey," Hope's mom chimed, aching from her knees touching the rough ground for such a long time. Hope, seemingly forgetting what she was going to say, went to her room and began studying for her final exams. Sophomore year was quite the challenge, and Hope wanted to come out of it like a champion in a boxer ring. After studying for a few hours, Hope crashes. "Crap. It's 8:30 already," Hope frantically says to herself as she abruptly awakens from her unexpected nap. "Well, my night is going great."
