*Molly's POV*

"Alpha Jeremy!" a man yelled running into the house

My head whipped in the direction of the front door and looked at him. He was breathing heavy and I could tell he was nervous.

"There's been a pack spotted," he says as Alpha Jeremy stands to speak to him

"Mary take Jessica and Molly to the safe room," Alpha Jeremy says

"No," I say standing up holding Jessica.

"It's my fault they are here so it will be my responsibility to make them leave," I said as everyone watched me

"But the baby," Luna Mary says

"You take her to the safe room," I say handing Jessica to her and she nods her head and walks out of the room

I go stand next to the guy and look him in the eye "Take me to the pack,"

He looks at Alpha Jeremy, who nods his head in approvement, before taking me out of the house and to were the pack was being held at bay by Dylan.

"Molly!" Dylan says running to me and wrapping me in a hug "Where's Jessica?"

"She's at a safe place," I say pulling away from the hug "Why did you come here?"

"I wanted to come bring you home," he says

"Why? So my daughter can be raised in a confusing situation?" I ask "Not happening,"

*Dylan's POV*

"Molly please just go home to Nick," I say looking into her eyes "He misses you and Molly he's suffering from you not being there. He's barely left the house and he never leaves his room for that matter and when he does he smells of alcohol. Molly you have to go home,"

"What about you?" she asks me

"I'll leave you and Nick alone and live in my own pack house," I say "I understand now that what I did was selfish and I shouldn't have done it,"

She looks at me with a look that says 'No shit'

"Molly I'm sorry I caused this all to happen. I'll leave you and Nick and Jessica alone if you just please go home to Nick," I say

"Why are you asking for me to return to him?" she asks "I thought you wanted me away from him. And now that I am you want me to go back to him,"

"I did want you away from him, but I see how much you love him. You look at him with a look that I wish you'd look at me with, but you don't and you never will, especially after I did this to you. Molly if you can't be with me, Nick would be the only person I'd want you to be with," I say

"How can I be so sure that what you say is the truth?" she asks "What if at some point you want to be in Jessica's life?"

"How about I just become her uncle figure?" I ask "Then I can still be in her life,"

"Okay I'll go home," she says with a sigh "For Nick,"

My heart breaks at those two words, I said I want her to be with Nick but only because he makes her happy. But I wish I could be the one to make her happy. I want to be the one who helps her raise Jessica, and hold her at night.

With a broken heart, but a smile on my face I say "Good now go get Jessica and get packed,"

She leads me to Alpha Jeremy and Luna Mary's house and goes to get Jessica. She hands her to me while we walk back to her house for her to pack. I look at the little girl in my eyes and she smiles up at me, she reaches her hand out and puts it against my face I feel a tingle come from her fingertips and in that moment I realize something.

My mate wasn't supposed to be Molly. It was supposed to be the child she would birth.
