'Welcome to San Francisco, ' the tour guide says. Her voice echoes in the marble lobby of the office building.
'When do we get to see the mummy?' my five year old sister Suzie whines at my side.
I squeeze her hand. I wish I didn't have to drag her around. But taking care of her is always my job on family holidays. Oh well. Who's cares, this is going to be the best holiday ever. Me and my family are staying in a hotel in downtown San Francisco. I have a view of the whole city from my Window - including the tall, spindly Pyramid Building just a few blocks away. And this month there is a display of Ancient Egyptian artifacts in the lobby. Including a real mummy! I can't wait to check it out.Well I should probably tell you about myself and my family. We are form Sydney, Australia and have decided to go on a holiday. I have an older brother named Derek and my younger sister Suzie. And of cause my parents who made all of this come true.
'I want to see the mummy! ' Suzie whines again.
'I want to see the mummy! I want to see the mummy!' Derek chants imitating her.
I laughed a Derek's joke and whispered to Suzie 'we' ll see it as soon as that tour group moves away'
Glancing past the group I catch a glimpse of the mummy. Hold up a sec. Are my eyes playing games with me or did that mummy just move. My heart starts pounding. It can't be! My eyes must me messing with me. That mummy is a dead person right. But I know it moved it's hand. Did anyone else see that!
