I can not believe have become a mummy. I notice a loose end of  lot dangling and yank it. The cloth around my head begins to unwind. I have to see what happened to me. I race towards the elevators, frantically unwrapping as I go. I gazed into the polished, chrome elevator doors.
NO!!!
My heart pounds as stare at what looks back. My face. It's gone. Instead it ancient and leathery. My skin is dried and shrunken and my mouth is just a gaping hole.
I have turned into a mummy!!
I can't think, all I know is that I'm terrified. I just stand there like a vegetable stunned. Then I hear the guard start to move.
Uh oh he's waking up.
I can't face him- or anyone looking like this. I gave to come up with a plan.
I gave to get back to the hotel. Maybe my family can help. But what if they don't recognise me. Back... That means I have to walk through the streets. I have to take my chances and hope no one spots me. I need help!!! I need to take the risk.
I tiptoe across the marble floor of the lobby without making a sound. Probably because the bandages are still on my feet. I sneak past the guard and slip into the foggy night.
Walking to the hotel I catch a glimpse of my reflection and jump. My face is so hideous I almost screamed. Stay calm I tell myself, only one More block to go. Uh oh here comes a car. I have to hide. Ducking into an alcove of a nearby building I huddle in the shadows and watch as a long black limo cruises by.
Phew! That was close. Except an instant later, the doors behind me open and two doctors. That's when I notice the entrance. EMERGENCY MEDICAL ASSISTANCE.
'Hey!' the male doctor says 'what are you ping out her? You should be in bed. You look really sick!'
So much for nor being seen I thought. The female doctor steps closer and peers at my face. She grabs my wrist.
'This until some ordinary kid' she whispers to the male 'I sure would like to see what's inside this kid'
I don't like the way these two care looking at me. There's something about the glint in there eyes. And their eager expressions. What did she mean by look inside? I know one thing though... I do  not like them. She starts to tighten her grip on me.
I glance back through the street to see if the limo is gone and it's not. What am I going to do?
These definitely  are creeps. They are looking at me as if they just won the lottery - and I'm the prize. I have got to get way from them. I yank my wrist hard. I duck out if The alcove and onto ye sidewalk. I don't think k the limo driver seemed to have noticed. The doctors start to chase me, but I mange to slip away from them. I sneak onto the side door of the hotel and take the elevator to the fourteenth floor. I rush to the room I share with my family. I teach to get the room key but remember I have no pockets. No pockets, no room key. I knock on the door  what else am I going to do? I hear footsteps coming but who?I hope is Derek. He can be a jerk but we usually get along. I wrap my face back up ad best as I can and put my hand on my hip. The door swings open.
