Yoongi stared blankly at the wall, he had been that posture for some good 30 minutes and it concerned his little brother, Jimin.

the younger tapped on yoongi's shoulder, asking whether the other was fine or not and he replied with a hesitant nod.

To be honest, he doesnt know if he's fine or not either. He is just... Confused.

He didnt want to lie but he's afraid that the secret he had been keeping all this while would hurt Namjoon, and worst... losing the younger.

'do you think I should let him know about the truth?'

Jimin brows furrowed, it was hard for him to answer. Both of it have their own pros and cons and jimin is never one who's good at making decisions.

'do what you think the best' the boy smiled, hugging his brother tightly in his arms and the elder replied the hug, breathing heavily against jimin's body. He was crying, min yoongi was crying, so hard that his whole body was shaking.

"Joon-ah," the woman called out for the tall boy who immediately answered the call.

The woman pointed at the couch beside her, placing her hands on top of her crossed-legs "I have to talk with you"

Namjoon went in front of her, taking a seat on the couch there.

"You know that you're the only one that had been trying to befriend yoongi, right?"

Nods.

"It will hurt yoongi so bad if he loses you." his mom sighed, closing his eyes as she took a deep breath. "I just want to say, once you know the truth, I hope you won't hate him."

namjoon shot her a confused look, not knowing what she actually meant. "what truth?"

"You see, he wasn't born mute. He can talk. He still can talk but he stopped at the age of 10."

"He often get bullied for his way of pronouncing words." His mother then explained about his lisp and stutter issue, about how the kids would always tease him whenever he try to say anything.

It breaks Namjoon heart when his mom told that yoongi use to come back home while crying all the time. His mom had reported it to the teachers but their voice was left unheard of course, money and positions play a big role in this matter — as for yoongi's family, they're no one.
