Chapter 8

On the whistle, the match begins. The ball was in the possession of hikaru, she smirked at shuu and ran towards the goal. As she reached to the defense, some players emerge in front of her. "You think you can stop me?" She said as she tried to summon her keshin, but realised that the ball was taken away by one of those player. She cursed him under her breath as she chase him. He passed the ball to another player and he passed it to Shuu! 'It'll be easy now' she thought as she speed up herself. She was almost near to him when he turn his face to her and smiled. Hikaru stopped as she realised "the goal is ..." but the ball hit the net before she could do anything. 

The ball was now again in her possession, she observe each player's position. She ran kicking the ball but she was stopped by shuu "c'mon hikaru chan, you can do better than this, can't you?" She tried to keep the ball in her possession but shuu managed to steal it from her. She ran after him, but he passed to another player. 'Forget about snatching, I've to protect the Goal!' She thought as she ran towards the goal. She jumped in time, as the ball came hitting her. She got hit and the ball fell down. "That's it!" She stood up and ran with the ball. She noticed a smile on shuu's face. 'He's upto something ' she thought as she  focused on keeping the ball while dribbling along. Even though she tried, they were too flexible, they always managed to snatch the ball from her.

Hikaru's POV 

The first half was finished and I wasn't able to do a single score. They had 1 point already and they were too good in stealing the ball from me. "Hikaru, you should do a little bit better than this, we'll not go easy on you in the next half" shuu kun said as he smiled at me. I couldn't believe it. They were already too strong and yet! I turned my back walked towards my instructor "akiyama san, it's not fair! This is eleven against one, how can you think I'll win like this?!" I complained about this but she smirked at me "nothing is fair in fifth sector....... you should follow what you're told to" she said, I clenched my fists and gritted. As I tried to say in my defence shuu kun cut me off "if that's the problem, then how about one on one? Me against you, can you accept that?" I was confused, right now I couldn't decide whose my ally. Akiyama san decided to speak " it's fine, then are you ready kageno hikaru?" I built all the confidence in myself, "yes I'm" I said as I warmed up myself. 

The ball was in my possession once again, at the whistle I kicked the ball at my back. This left him amused, he couldn't understand why I did that for? He dribble pass me to get the ball, I summon my keshin, "the guidance of light, yang!" The immense amount of light pushed him back. As my keshin took its shape, the ball was in my possession again. My keshin strikes the ball with its three swords. The ball hit the net, and I jumped in happiness. "Yes!" I screamed but he just smiled as usual. This time, the ball was in his possession "that was an awesome shot, but I think if it was even necessary?" He said as he tried to pass through me but I didn't let him. He tried to pass through me and I was trying to stop him or at least snatch the ball. After five minutes of struggle, he break past through me. He kicked the ball and it hits the net. "That's how you do goals " he said smiling at me. My eyes widen at this but I'm determined, I won't disappoint seitei sama anymore. 

Hakuryuu's POV 

"Hey hakuryuu did you hear that ancient dark is having a match against that idiot girl" I raised my brows as I heard this "you mean kageno hikaru? " I asked, "yes, who else can be more idiot than her?" He replied. I smirked "when seitei sama will get to know, how useless she's" I stood up from my place and turned to face my teammates "then I'll tell her Serve you right!"

I couldn't forgot that day when she insulted me

"..you think you're the strongest so you should be deserved everything." She stood up from her place to meet at my eye level "Serve you right!" She said on my face and left the room.

Yeah, that's right I'll show you every bit of that insult, kageno hikaru. I clenched my fists tightly and walked along my teammates.

Normal POV 

The red haired woman walked towards the field at the whistle, the match was over with a tie. "You did pretty well" shuu complimented as Hikaru's instructor reached her "you'll be qualified, ....... For this time only" say this she turned around and walked away. "Congratulations" shuu said as Hikaru's face brighten. "Arigato, you were a very tough opponent" hikaru said wiping her sweat off by the towel. He chuckled at her comment "was I? " she pouted and then shuu joined the rest of his teammates. Hikaru went to her room and started rewinding the scenes from today's match in her mind. "It was a tough test, I hope what come next?"

On the other hand ~

"Seems like that gal has manged to tie the score with Ancient dark" one of the player said, hakuryuu grinned at this "she'd have managed to tie somehow against them,...... but I'll make sure she does not get up after this match!" He kicked the ball without looking at it and it hits the net! "I'm waiting kageno hikaru, for your ultimate defeat!" 

The door opens and akiyama appears "today you're up against. ......" Hikaru bit her lip in curiosity as her instructor continued " the Unlimited Shine" . On hearing the name she clenched her fists. 'I'll definitely defeat them' she thought.
