Nerves.

He's back.

There he was, Murdoc, sitting on the couch. He was hella drunk, he couldn't even look 2D, who was sitting across from him, straight in the eye.
2D was furious.
How the hell was Murdoc going to have the nerve to come back after 4 years, drunk as hell? Does he expect them to take care of him now?
2D wanted to kick him to the curb but Noodle and Russel insisted on letting him stay. They really wanted this bastard to stay?

"I don't want 'im anywhere near me, 'ya 'ear?"

2D gave Murdoc the side eye as he stoop up and turned around for the hallway.

"What the hell is 'ya problem, boy?"

Murdoc chuckled, his breath reeked of booze and cigarrettes. He was purposely trying to set 2D off.
2D whipped himself around and stomped back over to where Murdoc was sitting. Murdoc set him off.

"What's my problem? What's your problem? Ya' left wit' no word. We worried about ya' for four goddamn
years!"

2D sat back in a chair that was in front of Murdoc and started to laugh uncontrollably.

"And ya' come back tipsy. Even my dumbass worried for ya'. Yeah, you, the one who fuckin' abused me in any way possible. I mean, look at my eyes. These are your doin'."

He laid his head back on the chair and took a deep breath.

"That's my problem, you're my problem."
He folded is arms behind his head and folded his legs together.

He's gotta calm down before Murdoc catches his hands.

2D sighed and and stood back up, he turned his back to Murdoc once again.

"Eat somethin', yeah? And take a bath, you stink."

He grabbed a towel and chucked it at Murdoc on his way to his bedroom.
Noodle sighed and handed Murdoc a bar of soap and a wash-rag.

"Don't mess with him, please?"

She gave him a worried look before she, too, walked away from him.
2D changed a lot since Murdoc left and Noodle didn't want Murdoc to destroy 2D again. She could have left him out there but he's still family.
Russel felt the same, he wanted to leave Murdoc out there and beat the shit out of him but he couldn't do that to his friend.
So Russel and Noodle made a small pact, Keep Murdoc away from 2D.
