Society (Long Poem)

Society is an illusion.

Society makes you think you're free.

Society tells you to be yourself.

But when you do,

everything changes.

Society is a monster.

Society makes you think you don't belong.

Society tells you to go away.

And you're trapped,

in a never-ending cycle,

of hating yourself, and loving yourself.

And as you grow older,

it gets worse.

Much worse.

Oh,

but you're 'fine'.

You'll get over it.

But.

You.

Won't.

You'll just wear a mask,

to cover it all up.

To cover up what Society has made you.

Because Society is evil.
