"Ahh!"
"Oh My Gosh! My poor eyes!"
I covered my hands with my eyes and shut them tight so I will not see anything. I turned around just to be sure.
"I believe the children are our future,
Teach them well and let them lead the way,
Show them all the beauty they possessed inside,"
I sang loudly and shut my eyes tightly. That sight is the most horrible thing I'll ever see in my whole life.
"What are you doing?" Someone asked making me jumped back and stop me singing. I still didn't dare move or turn around.
"Shh! Can't you see I'm meditating? Anyway, are you now decent enough?" I asked him.
"Yeah, you can turn around." I released a relief sigh and turned around to see him fully clothe and not the scene I saw earlier.
Okay, recap about the things. The scene I saw is not entirely horrible but more like awkward? I opened the door and saw a semi-naked Luke in front of me with only just a towel. Is that awkward?
"Oh! Thank God!" I took a deep breathe. Silence dawn upon us making the tension inside the room more intense than ever.
"Soo.." I trailed off, rocking both of my feet and looking at the floor. I mean seriously! I've been experiencing awkwardness this much. They can even label me; "Queen of Awkward"!
"What are you doing here?" He asked straightforwardly. This made me sweat because even I don't know the answer.
"Well.." I shrugged. "I-I was hoping.. you know.." I trailed off and started looking anywhere but him.
"Well, what?!" He yelled rather bluntly. This made me flinch and sweat even more.
"I was hoping you were okay because it's my fault you got sick." I blurted out as fast as I could.
"What? Can you please repeat? And speak up will you?" He asked me and with my peripheral vision I can see his eyes twitch.
I sighed deeply. "I said, I was hoping you were okay because it's my fault you got sick, there! Happy?" I said with sarcasm dripping out of my voice.
"Oh."
That was the response he gave me. Well, what do I expect? A big fat "Thank you!"? I just nodded meekly not trusting my voice.
"Erm.. Thanks! I guess.." I hear him say. I looked at him staring at the blue-grayish eyes orbs then gave him a small smile instead.
"No prob. Listen, I-I should go back. Sorry for intruding." I turn around to leave. As much as I wanted to say more, I think it will be best to go and reduce the tension.
"Wait! I want to-*cough*." He coughed uncontrollably making me turn around and assist him. I helped him get on his bed and lay him there.
I noticed some pills and water on his bedroom table and offered it to him. He took it immediately and drank the water.
"Thanks." He muttered. I just nodded and took the glass away from him. "I think it's best if you lay down." I advised as I slowly put my hand on his forehead.
"You think?" He said sarcastically while I shake my head. I slowly got off his bed and head towards the door. "I better be going. I'll just tell Aunty Em you needed her." I said.
