I awoke to loud shouting, climbing out of bed I dressed and quickly brushed my teeth and hair. I slid shoes (and socks) on before I walked outside. I stared around at the panic stricken street, a man holding a young child, seemingly eight years old, up by the throat. I watched as the Avengers tried to talk him off of her.
"Where is your sister?" He shouted at her. She looked around with a frightened face, her eyes landing on me.
"Dragonfly!" She cried, tears spilling down her cheeks as she smiled softly.
His head turned every so slowly to me, a creepy grin plastered on his face. I hadn't changed at all from my previous years, maybe a bit more height, but other than that I was the same. He chuckled sharply, bringing his hand down so she was still dangling, but near his side.
"Pebble," I whispered almost silently.
"Come with me, and your little sister will go free! Don't, and both you and her will die," He growled. I stared at him, my eyes flashing to the young girl being held down.
Silence filled the street as people were staring at me.
"Don't!" I heard Steve, but... did I? Why was he muffled? Everything felt slow.
"Dragonfly I swear i-" Tony was cut off by a blast of some substance. Everything was still slow, and muffled.
I stared wide-eyed around me, my eyes glossing over the innocent people that surrounded the street. I looked back to him, everything seemed to go back to normal.
I swallowed thickly.
"I'll go with you," I murmured. "But leave these people alone, and don't hurt her," I growled. He smirked and walked to me, grabbed my arm before throwing the gir- my sister -to the Avengers. He chuckled and glared me to death.
A bright light flashed in my eyes before I found myself tied down, weights placed on my arms.
~ Time skip (a few years of non-growing and very little food/water)
I laid, half conscious, on the bed. Dried blood covered me as I stared at the wall. My breathing had become erratic. The door opened, a man I didn't know stepped in. I barely moved my head to look at him.
He chuckled, sending two people to rid of all the restraints that bound me. I was picked up by above my elbows, my lower body dragging heavily along as they brought me to a room.
The door opened. "Here. She. Is!" A man said, the two people throwing me into the room violently, sending me half way across it. I grunted weakly.
"She has fought well, but not enough!" He said.
~ Avengers third POV
The camera switched to a recording of Allyson.
She was tied down while people were trying to grab her. She kept on kicking, punching and biting the people who came near her. They were able to unchain her, causing her to hurtle into a man, sliding over his shoulder and settling on his back. Others came to the mans back and started shooting, but she was already out the door.
It switched again to her attached to the floor, a man beating her harshly. She looked him in the face, and spat blood into it. He beat her harder.
It switched back to the live camera. The man picked her up by the collar of her shirt.
"I will kill him!" Tony shouted.
He grabbed the girl by the back of her head and slammed it into the ground. He did this over and over until there was a nice sized pool of blood where he had been bashing her head. He dropped her head into the pool, Allyson shifted so her head was facing the wall.
"Don't worry, I will give her back some day... Maybe" It ended.
