" SO YOU'RE DATING
GINNY THEN?"

Harry stopped picking at the scab on his hand and sat upright to face the blond boy. He spoke quietly and with a hint of uncertainty.

"Um, yeah. Guess I am."

Draco seemed unsatisfied with that answer.

"It's just- sorry for asking. I'm just beyond confused because," he giggled," you two really don't seem to be. Like from an outsider's point of view okay? I mean, most couples go on dates and spend as much time as possible with each other, but you? You're hanging out with your school tormentor, a complete and utter arsehole of a person instead of Ginny Weasley, your girlfriend, and i'm beyond perplexed."

Harry thought about it. Why did he do the things he did? Were Ginny and him still even dating? Was Draco his friend now? After that first trip to Hogsmeade came a second one. And then a trip led by Draco, and now Harry had brought the both of them here. Did he enjoy Draco's presence? Or did he just not hate the blond boy being around all the time?

He found himself spacing out and quickly returned to his surrounding reality. A muggle playground. Draco Malfoy on the swings, him at the top of the monkey bars. Why was he here? Why did Ginny seem so distant all of a sudden? How come he'd never even thought of her up until Malfoy mentioned it? So many thoughts clouded his mind at the moment, Harry couldn't understand half of his emotions.

"I guess it just seems like that but me and Ginny are quite okay at the moment, thanks for asking. But enough about me though, what about you and Pansy?"

Harry swore he heard Draco shriek.

"Me and Pansy?" he retorted," First of all, it's Pansy and I, excuse me for saying me and Pansy. Second of all, there is no Pansy and I. Haha what a concept. Where'd you get the idea that we were together?"

At this point, Harry was a colorful shade of red. He and Draco talked about a lot of things, yet he had never bothered to clear up his suspicions of the two Slytherins ever dating.

"I, um, I kinda just thought that it was an unspoken thing that you two were together?"

Draco laughed so hard he fell off the swings. A soft landing though, since he never really got that high up in the air. He continued to chortle until it seemed that he couldn't anymore and Harry realized that he had never really seen the blond boy laugh before. Snicker maybe, but never laugh as carelessly as he currently was.

"Oh, Merlin. Pansy's great and all, but we are not dating. That would be a disaster, we'd drive each other mad. And i'm- nevermind. Haha. Pansy and I dating."

Harry cracked a smile. It did seem ridiculous to him now. A lot of things did.

yes wow surprise i updated ! also, i'm gonna change the faceclaim for draco to dane dehaan and not tom felton because dbsabdkjab kill your darlings (rlly good movie) gifs keep me ALIVE and tbh daniel radcliffe looked more like harry in that movie than he did in the whole hp series and yeah, more otp gifs but if you wanna keep picturing draco as tom felton then whatever you do you thanks for reading this story still despite the wonky update schedule I LOVE YOU
