Chapter 2

As I start waking up, I look around to see only white walls around me and myself strapped down to a table. I look to my left and notice a bunch of medical torture tools, it then dons on me I should probably be screaming since I'm strapped to a table. I start screaming at the top of my lungs, looking around I see no windows and only one door. The door opens and six people come rushing in looking around " What happened? Did they find us?!" I stop and just stare at them, four boys and two girls, they're all staring at me waiting for a response, one of the boys steps towards me and asks " Why were you screaming? There doesn't seem to be any attackers in here". I look at him with a blank stare "Attackers? No I was screaming because I'm strapped to a table in a white a room with no windows and one door!" They all look at each other, there is thick tension in the air, then they all start laughing. "Don't worry you're not in a psychiatric hospital, we just rescued you from being kidnap". They all walk over in my direction as one of them unstraps me I chuckle " Phew you scared me, well I guess I should start heading home so I don't get in trouble". All their smiles fall and they give me serious look when they say " We can't let you leave, you're stuck here" I jump down from the table "wait what, why not?" One of them sighs and hands me a stool as she says "Well you better sit down it's gonna be a long story". I sit down as she starts to talk "You see we are the embodiments of sin, particularly the seven deadly sins. We have been fighting a group known as P.A.I.N. since the beginning of time both sides trying to kill the other but to no avail. There always used to go for us but yesterday they went after you...which raises the question of what's so special about you?" I shrug my shoulders "I don't know maybe they wanted me for experimenting, I mean the lady in the brown cloak did say "the master wants him unharmed grrr get me some porridge" or something along those lines". They look at me as if I'm suddenly growing antlers " did you say a lady in a brown cloak?" I look at them quizzically "Yes, why is she important?" One of the boys starts laughing "Is she important? She's one of the six commanders of P.A.I.N. though it's our first time hearing about a leader..." They all seem to be lost in thought so I decide this is the perfect time to introduce myself "Well since I'm gonna be here for awhile I might as well introduce myself, my name is Grace Ryobi and I'll help you in anyway I can". I then give them my best smile and then I hear a whisper in my ear " So you'll help us with anything?" I turn around to see one of the girls behind me "Well t-the best I can anyways". I hope she doesn't need me, she gives me the chills.  She laughs and smiles at me "I'm just messing with you, I'm Lust by the way" she holds out her hand and I shake it. One the boys steps up next, he has blonde spiked up hair with glasses "and my name is the fabulous, luscious, unbeatable, irresistible embodiment of perfection. But you can just call me Pride" I don't know if it was my imagination, but for a second there I thought he winked at me. "I'll also introduce the others, this is Gluttony" Pride then pointed to a short, chubby boy with his hair swiped to the side of his head, he seemed to be eating a bag of takis and drinking a can of Mtn. Dew "hrg mr narm az Gkugty nice to meegt you" he put out a hand covered in taki dust and I politely declined asking " What did you say?" He swallowed and licked his finger " I said my name is Gluttony, nice to meet you". I laughed " Oh well it's hard to understand you when you have food in your mouth" he to looked away as if embarrassed "Yeah, I get that a lot..." An awkward silence settled over us. Pride then pointed at two boys, one wearing a red and black hoodie that said "independent", blue glasses, and buzz cut hair, Pride said this boy was Greed. "And this magnificent man is my best friend Envy" I looked and had to cover my hand over my mouthy to keep from bursting out laughing, he was wearing all green even his hair was green, talk about green with envy! Other than that nothing to different about him, he seemed pretty average. I looked around and then noticed what seemed to be a little girl with strawberry blonde hair in a pink, red, and orange dress. I walked over to her and patted her head "And who is this cute little girl" she seemed to give me the sweetest smile as she walked up to me and whispered in my ear "I'm the cute little girl that is gonna rip out your spinal cord and shove it down your throat and laugh while you drown in your blood". She then kneed me in the crotch and as I fell to the ground she said "My names Wrath" she then did a twirl and left the room. As I got up Lust helped me up " She hates being called a little girl" I rolled my eyes "Well that would've been nice to know beforehand, and didn't you say there was seven of you? I count six" We all started to drift out of the room "Well sloth is still in bed, since she is like the embodiment of laziness pretty much. And actually there is eight of us here, we forgot to mention our leader, but she's a weird one" I give her a puzzled look "  What do you mean "weird" I mean to me all of you are weird" Lust laughed "Yeah we are pretty weird but she's way more weird because she's not only the embodiment of Vengeance, she also is the embodiment of Mercy. This causes her to have two different clashing personalities" We leave the white room and start to walk around the building "Well that is pretty weird I guess. Well I want to meet her" Lust stares at me "You do realize that's a 50/50 gamble right?" I nod my head "I'm willing to take the risk, so lead on" she rolls her eyes "Your funeral..." We keep walking through corridor after corridor until we reach a half black and half white room with a door with fire and ice markings all over it "Wow, she really likes the whole opposites theme" Lust gulps "Yeah just don't bring it up to her..." She looks at me then at her watch "So you gonna go in or not?" I give her a confused look "Aren't you coming?" She looks at me like I'm crazy "Are you nuts?! I'd prefer to stay alive thank you very much". I gulp and look at the door "Well her goes nothing..." I slowly start to reach my hand towards the door.

Alrighty that's a wrap on chapter 2 and don't worry I'm whipping up chapter 3 right now. Oh and remember to comment, vote, and follow😉.
