Sins

Chapter 6:

I couldn't believe it "Wait so I'm an error, what does that even mean?" Gluttony shrugged " It could mean many things. You could have none of the sins, you could have all of them, you could have a tie between some or... you could already be an embodiment" I stepped back a little "Me? Be an embodiment? That's impossible! I've been living with my mom all my life and she a normal...actually I could see her being the embodiment of Pain or wine...?" Gluttony rolled his eyes " Ha ha and maybe you're the embodiment of bad jokes. But no, seriously, I doubt you are an embodiment, it was probably one of the other possibilities". I let out a sigh of relief and anguish "Well I hope you're right because I honestly couldn't deal with being a god right now" Envy rolled his eyes and scoffed "Shows how much you know! We aren't gods, there is only one God and he doesn't dress like us, we are sins! Even if you were an embodiment that doesn't mean you would be a huge embodiment like us, you could be the embodiment of ugliness or cockroaches" I shriveled at his tone and volume "O-ok I didn't know..." I said going back to my usual shy dominated self. Gluttony looked between the two of us " Well now that's done, we can put the stone into his combat suit and call this meeting adjourned" We all nodded and then Gluttony picked up the stone. He then walked over to me, placed the stone into the compartment in my suit, and stepped back as a the suit went from a dull gray; to a jet black. I walked over to a mirror and checked myself out " I look awesome! I feel like I could jump to the moon and back or even take on a panther tank". Vengeance rolled her eyes " Well when you're done googling over yourself let us know so we can end this meeting and enjoy what's left of the day..." I looked over at her, blushing in embarrassment and said " Oh yeah, sorry about that. Didn't mean to take up your time..." I then walked over there as vengeance picked up a gavel and slammed it onto a podium " I call this meeting adjourned, remember to sign the paper if you want in the tournament. Now get out of here!" I noticed that I was the only person to not walk up to the sheet. After everyone had signed the sheet, they started to exit out of the room, so I followed the flow of people and only looked back only once and noticed the only person left in the room was a disheartened looking Envy just staring at the list, as if contemplating something. I shrugged it off and continued following the group, rushing to catch up to Vengeance "So where do I go for now?" She just shrugged and rolled her eyes " Don't know, don't care. Choose who you want to be with for now and then later we'll start a schedule. I forgot to mention it in the meeting, but you'll stay with a different person each day until you decide which person you want to stay with permanently. Hopefully you won't be here that long though" I nodded my head " hopefully..." I then looked around and noticed that everyone had left to there rooms, even Vengeance had managed to sneak away "Well this is just lovely".
2 hours later...
I had been around corridor after corridor and was still lost " Well shoot, looks like I'm lost, where do I go from here?" I then heard footsteps behind me and looked to see Tyrone walking with a tray of snacks and drinks " Hey Tyrone! Where are you headed?" He then looked over at me "I am headed to Gluttony's room to deliver his room service". I paused, weighing my options, decided to follow Tyrone " Well what do you know? That's where I'm heading" Tyrone cocked a grin " Ah what a coincidence?" We then walked side by side awkwardly all the way to Gluttony's room.

15 minutes later...

Tyrone stopped at a door  with a red and black sphere on it with a poster right next to it with to teenage boys, one wearing a red cap, and the other a boy with brown spiked hair and a black jacket; above them was the word "Legends". Tyrone opened the door and I could hear anime music and video games blasting through the room. I walked in with Tyrone and as he set the tray down he said "Your room service Gluttony, also you have a visitor" he turned around to see me and looked me up and down "You play video games?" I rubbed the back of my neck "Not really...but I'm a fast learner!" He smiled at me with a giant grin "I hope so, I've been needing a rival". I cocked an eyebrow "Rival? What do you mean?" Gluttony rolled his eyes " Like Red and Blue from Pokémon, which is like, my favorite game!" I gave him a blank stare and stated " I'm gonna be honest, I have no idea what Pokémon is..." He looked at me like I strangled a puppy " sit down my friend, let me explain EVERYTHING..."

5 hours later...

"...and that's the difference between an IV and EV. You got all that?" I looked at him with wide eyes he had just overloaded my brain with knowledge " Yeah...I got it..." he smiled at me with glee "alright, now that you know how to play I'll let you train up a team and then we can battle".

The next morning...

"Finally! I made a perfect team, let's battle!" I look over and see Gluttony sleeping "Are you serious dude? Wait, what time is it anyways?" I look over at a clock and almost scream when it says 11:00 a.m. "I'm going to bed" I just flop onto a bed and I'm already sleep before I even hit the bed. Five minutes later I hear Vengeance come in and say "Wake up it's time to announce who's fighting who in next weeks tournament!" Both Gluttony and I crawl slowly out of bed and head to the meeting room. When we get there I hear Vengeance screaming at everyone to shut up. We walk into see the schedule and as I scan through the names I notice mine! "Vengeance why is my name on the list?!" Vengeance looks at me " Because your name was on the list and you're facing..." she looks down at a clipboard she's holding "Envy seems to be your opponent" I look over at Envy and he makes a throat slashing motion and I realize; he must have put my name on the sheet. Now Envy is gonna kill me because I have zero training, lovely" I roll my eyes and look around the room, I need training, just who do I pick?...
