Ok, I've been distracted for long enough. Time for the story. Hope you like it! ----------------------------

It  was terrible. In all honesty. Mirror Master. He had done the worst possible thing to him. He made an illusion. An illusion that shattered not the mirror, but Barry's world. Mirror Master had manipulated mirrors, to make Iris appear. She, well really he made her, say things. Say things that should've been warped, versions of the truth. But really, it was a reflective time for one Barry Allen.
"Barry, everyone felt sorry for you. I felt sorry for you. Why else would I be your friend."
"Honestly, you really think I could love you? Your like my brother."
"Bartholomew Henry Allen. Will you get it into your head? I do not love you. I never will."
His anger, his sudden rage, allowed him to beat Mirror Master. But before he could do that, the criminal was able to injure the Scarlet Speedster. A large shard of glass was embedded into the speedsters leg.
He was luckily able to make it to Star Labs. Iris, as soon as she saw him, ran out, a guilty look on her face. He collapsed on the floor, blood seeping out of his leg. Before he fainted, he saw one doctor. Light brown hair falling in his face, and kind, concerned eyes looking down at him.
------------------------------
"Barry. I know you love me. But..." he recognized that voice. He thought he was in love with that voice. His eyes slowly opened.
"Just tell me. How is it that he can only take things that have happened into a mirror?" I say, quietly, sleep still lining my voice.
"Because, I was practicing how to say things. But he warped so much of what I said. I was really your friend. I just, don't love you that way." She said, a tear threatening to fall. "I never wanted to hurt you Barry."
"Iris, I'm sorry but you failed your mission. I'm, I'm going to need time." He barely said, just breathed out. She looked at him. Took his face in her hands, and kissed his forehead. The tears finally fell, and she turned out the door.
"Remember that time, that time I swore we should never mention again, but you need a pick me up for? The night." Caitlin's voice fills the room. I look up. She's looking at her laptop, turned away from my bed. "You said, that you were always there for Iris to pick her up. Sorry, but I think you could do better. She was never there to pick you up." She finally turned around, looking at me. "Good news is Barry, you'll be good as new soon. Bad news is, it'll take a bit longer. It went straight through a vein. She said, waking toward me, lifting the blanket, and taking a look at my leg.
Suddenly, something clicked. Who had always been there for me? Who was always there? Who always cared? Who picked me up as many times as I did for them?
"Cait, you're right." I say, slowly. She walks over to my face, and puts a hand to my head.
"I know, I usually am." She says with an adorable smirk. She takes her hand from my forehead, and smiles at me.
In a flash, I'm standing up, with pain in my leg. She's facing me, and I have her face in my hands.
"But you, have always been there. You've picked me up, more than I have fore you."
And suddenly, her lips are on mine. And while I was planning it for the other way around, she ended up being faster.
"Barry Allen. For the fastest man alive, it took you quite a long time to let this happen." She said, pulling away, and resting her forehead on mine. "Now get back in bed before you hurt yourself further. Honestly, Mr. Allen." She says with a small smile, and her hair falling in her face as she looks down. I get back in bed.
"Well, Dr. Snow," I say, taking the hair and tucking it behind her ear as she looks up. "As you say. Thank you, for being there. Even when I was so oblivious." I say, with a soft smile.
"Your welcome Barry." She says, before I lift he head up, and our lips meet once more. And I can feel her smile.
