Gabriel felt another grace come near him. It felt like the grace of a fledging. Gabriel turned his head and there was a baby angel(a fledging) with big eyes.

"Hello there, little one." Gabriel said to the fledging. The fledgling just blinking with its big glassy blue eyes.

"What's your name?" Gabriel asked. The response was another blink. "Name? You know what one might call you?" Gabriel elaborated. Gabriel's wings stretched out farther as if he was asserting his dominance.

The fledging just erupted in giggles and crawled over the fluffy cloud to the archangel. The fledging started rubbing the golden wings.

The fledging grabbed ahold of a couple of feathers and Gabriel winced as the child pulled itself up using the bundle of feathers he grasped onto. "Whoa, easy there, pal" Gabriel said gently removing the hands of the fledging.

The child only fell backwards as Gabriel removed his hands from the child. The child's black wings bent in the wrong way. Gabriel picked up the crying celestial being and straightened his wings.

The crying stopped as the child clung onto the elder. "Cas-mhpf-Castiel" the child muttered before grabbing tightly to the start of Gabriel's right wing.

"Castiel? Is that your name?" The archangel said trying to ignore the pain that came from the grasp of the child.
"Mhm" Castiel said looking up at Gabriel.

Gabriel hated to admit it, but the small drum of a fledging's grace was nice and he felt the urge to protect the younging coming.

"Oh Father, I'm a big brother now." Gabriel realized. He was far more pleased at that thought than he though he would be.
--------------

"Alright, Cas, just spread your wings, like so." Gabriel said as he stretched out his wings.

The tiny black wings that belonged to the younger just twitched. "I can't!" Castiel complained flopping down on his butt.

"Yes you can. Just I dunno, really concentrated. Maybe I'll let you groom my feathers if you can stretch them out." Gabriel said, trying to sound persuading.

"Alright!" Castiel chirped happily getting on his feet again. A few more tries and Castiel was stretching his wings in and out. In. Out. In. Out.

"Alright, you have some feathers to groom." Gabriel said picking up Castiel and twirling him. Castiel was giggling eager to touch the elder's wings.
--------------

"Just flap your wings. It's easy. Up. Down. Up. Down." Gabriel said giving the younger an example while fluffing up a cloud around them.

"But. Gabe, they don't go that way. Only in and out." Castiel tried to explain. "Oh really, then how am I doing it?" Gabriel asked doing it again.

"Why are we doing this. It's boring. Just teach me how to fly already." Castiel complained. "I am!" Gabriel all but screeched.

Castiel let out a quiet 'oh' and tried to flap his wings like Gabriel. They ruffled but showed no signs of moving in that direction.

"Gabeeee. oh oH OH I'M DOING IT!" Castiel said as soon as his black wings moved in the direction he was willing it to go.

"Alright now move them fast. Then faster. And then try and jump." Gabriel tried explaining how to fly, when in reality, he doesn't remember being taught.

Castiel didn't change pace and he jumped. Castiel went straight back down and fell on his stomach. "OW!" He exclaimed.

"I didn't make them go faster, oh." Castiel realized getting up. Castiel tried again but this time making his wings flap faster.

Gabriel had to cover his mouth not to laugh because of the face Castiel was making. Castiel looked like he was trying to poop.

Then came the jump. Castiel fell again. "Not fast enough, bro." Gabriel advised.

"MOZOLD!" Castiel said getting angry. "Hey, don't say that." Gabriel scolded the younging for using an Enochan swear word.

"Sorry." Castiel said getting up and flapping his wings again. Once Castiel thought he got fast enough he jumped. This time he didn't fall back down.

"I'm doing it!" Castiel shouted at Gabriel and Gabriel flew up to him. "You did it!" Gabriel exclaimed happily.
--------------

This was the fifth time Gabriel had to search Heaven because Castiel had flown off again.

"Castiel!" Gabriel called out, again. Gabriel returned to their normal cloud. He waited.

Once Castiel returned Gabriel snapped and a harness type thing around Castiel. Gabriel grabbed onto the leash.

"No flying off without me. You could get hurt." Gabriel said and for a response the younger angel tried to fly away.

The leash slipped out of Gabriel's hand and he had to reach up to get it, but in the process he stepped on the bottom of his robe.

Gabriel toppled down bringing the smaller angel down with him.
"Oops?" Gabriel said to the angel in his arms.
--------------

God has created the earth and the moon. Gabriel and Castiel were sitting mesmerized by it.

All of the other angels didn't care about the new planet. Castiel reached a hand out to grasp the tiny planet.

"No, no." Gabriel spoke in a soft voice, still wide eyed as he watched the moon slowly glide around the earth.

"I like the earth." Castiel said drawing his hand back in. "I prefer the moon, it seems much more peaceful." Gabriel said his eyes trained on the sphere now in front of their faces.

"Then where's the fun in that?" Castiel asked, pouting. "There is no fun, I guess." Gabriel said not thinking about fun.

They both loved the earth and moon much more than the other angels.
--------------

Gabriel held up the small angel to his face. Said small angel clamped his hands down on both cheeks.

Gabriel started making weird noises as if he was blowing raspberries onto the air.

That sent Castiel into hystericals. Castiel was giggling so much all of Heaven probably heard him.

"What are we going to do today?" Castiel asked. "How about we go to earth?" Gabriel suggested knowing Castiel would love to go to earth.

"The earth? Really? We can go?" Castiel said with big hopeful eyes. "Yes, the earth. Maybe the moon." Gabriel suggested.

"Yuck. Not that boring place." Castiel said in response. "Let's go!" Castiel shouted.

Gabriel laughed and snapped his fingers and they were on earth.
It was much more green than they both expected it.

On their right was a tree line and on their left was a beach. Castiel ran to the water.

There was a rather grotesque blob that was heaving itself onto the shoreline.

Gabriel recognized it as a fish. But as far as he knew fish couldn't be on land. Then something clicked. This 'fish' was going to be the first human in a billion years.

Castiel wandered right up to the fish. His foot dangerously close to it.

"Don't step on that fish, Castiel. Big plans for that fish." Gabriel said walking to the fish in wonder. He hoped humans would be more graceful.

"Oh" was all Castiel got out as he looked up at Gabriel with big glassy eyes in wonder.
