Huffy and Puffy Dean

Dean just woke up and he walked to the kitchen in just his robe. His mind was occupied. Occupied on Castiel. Not like it normally was. It was different.

Dean was in a pissy mood when Sam woke up. "Dude, what crawled up your butt?" Sam asked sipping his coffee.

"Nothing." Dean grumbled downing the rest of his coffee. "Alright." Sam said not believing him, obviously.

Soon Cas popped up next to the two brothers. "Hey, Cas, what are ya doing here?" Sam asked the angel.

"I have free time. The God search isn't going so well." Castiel explained. Dean turned his head away from the celestial being.

"Wha-" Castiel was cut off by Sam "He is acting like I offended his great ancestor." Sam said finishing his coffee.

Castiel had a look of confusion written all over his face but Sam didn't explain any farther.

It was a lazy day in the Men of Letters bunker. No cases could be found near them.

"Dean." Sam said to his brother who was angrily flipping the page on a book about Chimera.

"Dean. You're going to rip a page." Sam scolded him. "Well maybe the page wants to be ripped." Dean retorted back.

Castiel, who was sitting a table away from Dean, looked over at the two brothers. "If the page wanted to be ripped, it would have ripped itself." Castiel stated seriously.

"No, Cas, nevermind." Sam said opening a new tab on his laptop. Dean still had yet to talk to the angel.

"Are you ignoring me on purpose?" The innocent angel asked. "No." Was the only response Castiel got from Dean.

"I sense sarcasm." Castiel said back, then all became silent as Cas went back to staring at the book covered wall.

This act of annoyance by Dean carried on until Sam had enough of it.

"Dean. Tell me what the hell is wrong. I don't give a shit if it is about me. I am beyond annoyed." Sam stated crossing his arm standing in front of Dean, blocking Dean's way to the kitchen.

"It's not you." Was all Dean said as he grunted and pushed his 6'4 brother out of the way.

"Is it Cas?" Sam asked "No." the tone in Dean's voice was different. "Ah, so it is about our little angel friend. Finally realize you two are head over heels for each other?" Sam asked teasingly.

"No, Cas is like family." Dean said cutting himself another slice of cherry pie.

"So what is it?" Sam asked walking over to the fruit bowl, getting an apple. "Nothing." Dean said. It was totally not nothing.

"Just confront Cas about it, I'm sick of you and it's only been a day with you acting like this." Sam explained biting in to his apple.

Dean said nothing as he walked out with his slice of pie. Castiel haven't moved from his spot in the library.

"Dean. Something is bothering you." Castiel stated looking at his hands. "Thanks, feathers, I knew that for myself." Dean retorted, sitting down and angrily shoveling in pie.

Sam sat back down across from Dean and started on his apple again.

It was about half an hour later of silence that Dean finally talked. "Why the hell couldn't you have dropped me off at a fucking Pizza Hut, or something." Dean said looking at his empty plate.

"What are you talking about, Dean?" Sam asked, throughly confused. "You, Cas." Was all Dean said to further detail the subject.

"You left me to dig my own damn self out of my grave." Dean spoke, his annoyance turning to anger.

"I was six feet under and I could have easily been dropped off at Pizza Hut." Dean shoved his pie plate farther away from him.

"I wasn't aware you liked that restaurant so much." Castiel stated looking at Dean.

"It's not that specific restaurant. It's just that you could have made my life a hell of a lot easier by not having me dig myself out." Dean said looking Cas back in the eyes.

"Oh." Was all Castiel said.

"I'm still pissed." Dean said getting up and stomping to put his plate away and then go to his room to blast AC/DC, like a moody teen.

"Did you know he liked Pizza Hut so much?" Castiel asked Sam with a straight face.

Sam just laughed/snorted and went to his own room, leaving Castiel and his confusion all alone.
