It didn't take Zails long to fix Shadow up. The black and red hedgehog having a slight headache and pain in his lower back. When he heard the news about staying at Zonic's with him and Sonic, he insisted on staying where Knuckles was gonna stay, causing the red echidna to blush

"So I'm guessing it's just you and me?" Sonic smirked at his look alike. Zonic glared at Sonic

"Keep getting cocky and I'll have your girlfriend stay with us as well."

"She's not my girlfriend!!!"

"Mhm." Zonic smirked. He knew he had gotten to Sonic, which made him slightly happy. Amy was glaring at the two, but decided to not say anything

"I'm guessing Shadow and Knuckles will be staying with Zhadow and Znuckles since I'm guessing these two are together?" Zails pointed out. Knuckles blushed the same shade of his fur

"No we're not together, but I guess our lookalikes are together." Shadow seen Zails nod

"Well Tails and I are gonna start working on the portal, Zonic will introduce you to the people you'll be staying with." Zails stated. Amy, Shadow, and Knuckles nodded, Knuckles helping Shadow to stand up

"I can carry you if you need me to." Knuckles insisted. Shadow smiled at him and nodded his head. Knuckles grinned a bit, picking Shadow up bridal style

"Is it just me, or do they look like a couple?" Zails whispered to Tails. Tails nodded, agreeing with him

"Okay guys come on. Let's introduce y'all to your temporary housemates." Zonic stated, motioning for the others to follow. The gang, except Zails and Tails followed...

{Time Skip}

"Amy, you're gonna be rooming with Zamy and Zream." Zonic told the pink hedgehog whilst entering Zamy and Zream's office. Zream looked up as Zamy sat at her desk, cleaning her and Zream's gun

"Good to see you sir, is there anything you need?" Zream asked. Zamy, who had a blank face glanced up, looking back down and continuing to clean her gun

"Think you guys have extra room for a guest?" Zonic questioned. Zream looked at Zamy to see the girl shrug at her

"Yeah we have enough room. I'm thinking that you need somewhere for the pink hedgehog to stay right?" Zream guessed. Zonic smirked and nodded. Zream looked at Amy and smiled

"You can stay with us. We don't mind." Zream stated. Amy smiled a little, secretly wanting to stay with Sonic, but deciding not to say anything....

(Time Skip)

"You two don't mind staying with a gay couple right?" Zonic questioned Knuckles and Shadow. The two looked at each other and blushed, looking away

"I'm taking that as a no." Zonic chuckled, walking into the gym part of the building to see Zhadow laying down on a bench presser lifting weights, Znuckles sitting on his lap giggling at his boyfriend and slightly playing with his chest fur. Knuckles and Shadow blushed at the sight

"Hey lovebirds!" Zonic called to them. Zhadow almost dropped his weight, causing Znuckles to react quickly and catch it for him. Zhadow smiled at his boyfriend, helping him place the weight down. Znuckles got off of Zhadow and they both walked over to Zonic, a bottle of water in Zhadow's hands

"What's up boss?" Znuckles questioned

"Mind letting your lookalikes stay with you for a bit?" Zonic pointed at Shadow and Knuckles, the two still looking shocked, Shadow looking like he wanted to roll out of Knuckles' hold

"Don't mind at all." Zhadow answered. Znuckles smiled at the lookalikes

"Aww are you guys dating as well?" Znuckles questioned. Shadow and Knuckles snapped out of what they were thinking, blushing madly

"Wha-! Oh no! No we do not date!" Knuckles and Shadow slightly panicked, feeling the tips of their ears burning. Znuckles chuckled at the nervous two

"Well have fun I guess. I'm gonna show Sonic my house." Zonic walked off, Sonic quickly following....

(Time Skip!)

Sonic was given a full tour of Zonic's house. Zonic felt as though he needed to show Sonic the whole house so he could know where everything was and not be to ask for it

"Mind if I take a shower?" Sonic questioned. Zonic, who was now wearing a black long sleeved turtle neck with black pants, raised an eyebrow at the Sonic

"You don't have any clothes though." Zonic replied

"Well can I borrow some of your clothes?" Sonic questioned, feeling his cheeks slightly burn. Zonic chuckled and got up from his spot on the couch, heading for his room. Sonic quickly followed. Zonic walked into his room and grabbed some pajamas for Sonic to wear for the time being

"Towels, as you should already know, are in the bathroom closet."  Zonic told him, handing Sonic the clothes. Sonic's tail began to wag in happiness, his face fully flushed red

"Cute..." Zonic thought. He didn't regret his thought though. He knew he was into guys and he was starting to accept the fact that he was indeed falling for his look alike

"Thanks! I'll be back!" Sonic ran off to the shower, his heart pounding in his chest. He closed the door behind himself and leaned against it, trying to calm his raging heart. He shook his head of a few thoughts, going over to the shower and turning it on

"He's really handsome...And I'm not saying that cause he looks like me. Something about him stands out to me..." Sonic sighed, stepping into the shower when it was on the right temperature. He bathe, washing his quills and his body, the zone cop somewhere in the house still in his thoughts

"Could I possibly like him? I never really looked at a guy this way or even felt this way about them. Plus I just met this guy today! How can feelings for someone even come that fast?" Sonic sighed again, feeling a headache approaching his brain from his thinking. After a couple of more minutes of showering, his stepped out, dried off, and put on his clothes, walking into the living room to see Zonic sitting on the couch again. Sonic got an idea and giggled quietly to himself, running after to Zonic. When he was about to jump on him, Zonic turned around and grabbed him, pinning him down onto the couch with a smile

"Don't try and sneak up on me. Doesn't work that easily." Zonic chuckled. Sonic couldn't speak. The sparkle that shined in Zonic's eyes were taking his attention away from Zonic's words. Zonic was going to say something, but got lost into Sonic's eyes as well, his eyes shinning like the bright emeralds they were. Only a moment like this was perfect for a kiss.....
