A/n : Hi ! I know this is sort of similar to the last imagine, so it will be a bit shorter.
"Y/n! Why are you crying?" Betty ushers, bolting out of the booth you guys usually sit at.
"My d-dad was p-put to jail!" You cry, more warm tears pouring down your swollen eyes.
"Why?" She questions, genuinely confused. Her smooth hands gripping yours for comfort.
"They think he was involved in the Jason Blossom murder." You say, in disbelief.
"Jughead and I have been investigating, there is no way your dad took part in the murder." She assures you, hugging your shoulders as she leads you out. You two had caused a minor scene and she didn't think dinner could happen today in your state.
"I am sorry."
"For what?"
"I ruined our date." You sob
"Oh y/n. I promised you, I'd be by your side through thick and thin. Do not be sorry baby." She hugs you in one swift motion, rubbing your back soothingly.
"Can we go to your place?"
"Of course. I am taking you home." Betty was your home, so anywhere she was you felt at ease.
Betty opens the passenger car door and gently pushes you inside, you felt oddly numb. Once you both were in the car, she drove away from Pops and made her way home.
"Mom!" Betty yelled when she opened her front door
"Honey, you are home early. How wa-" Mrs. Cooper stopped talking when she noticed you. You had red swollen eyes, and your body seemed tense.
"I will make cookies. You will be okay sweetie." You thanks Mrs. Cooper, grateful she did not push the topic.
That woman would do anything for content on her next article...
"I love you." Betty mumbles when you lay on her bed, sighing.
"I love you." You reply, extending your arms so she could walk into them.
She lay on her soft bed and wrapped her warm tender arms around you. You nuzzled your head inside her neck, where you kissed her jaw sweetly.
"Thank you."
"No problem." Betty continues to hold you as you swiftly go into a deep slumber. Alice came into the room with fresh warm cookies but stopped when she noticed Betty and you.
"They've got one another." She coos.. and you two sure did.
P.s - your father was out of jail after Betty and Jughead (plus their friends) helped find evidence that proved Mr. Blossom was guilty. Needless to say that you attacked Betty with hugs and kisses after everything went back to normal. Or did it?
