I took a step back, my eyes widening slightly as I stared at the guard, trying to remember his name. It was Gregory, and I didn't like him one bit.

"Well well, you're pretty skilled for someone who feeds the birds. almost like a Robin." He almost spat the words and it made my blood run cold. I Tried to think of a way to get me out of this new situation, But found none. It took me a moment before I realised I was just staring at Gregory. I rubbed the back of my neck with one hand before opening my mouth.

"Yeah, I'm half short eared elf, or Parven, as we call it after all. " My comment obviously didn't make Gregory happy. I suddenly felt large hands grabbing my arms from behind and holding me in place.

"Dude, what the Iru?!" I half yelled, struggling to get my arms free but i stopped the moment a fist to my stomach knocked all the air out of my system. Gasping for air, I looked up at Gregory with raised eyebrows. The jerk just smiled at me.

"Are you going to tell me why you respond to Robin and why you disappear every month for a night?" He asked, taking a step back so I could take a better look at him, and Devio-oh-oh..he was really ugly, the more I looked at him, the more I realized that. But I didn't have much time to keep thinking about that, because this was my chance to make a run for it. I let myself fall through my knees, onto the hard ground and caught the guy holding my arms by surprise, who was forced to bend over to keep holding me. That was exactly what I wanted him to do, because with a precise roll forward, I had the guard sprawling onto the stones and into Gregory who tumbled to the ground as well like the idiot he was. I quickly got up, brushing off my clothes before running into the castle and through the halls, searching for Damien's room. Of course I found it quickly and knocked on the door as hard as I could, he had to open so I could explain him that I was leaving and would come back for him.

"Dames, please be a good prince and open the door for me, will you?" I yelled, hoping he heard me through the thick, wooden door. Why did he lock it anyways? After a few seconds I heard the door unlock and pushed it open, watching Damien. He wasn't wearing a shirt, and even though his dad wasn't around to be freaking out about my commentary to his son, I still spoke up about it in a hope to lighten the mood, even if it was for just a second.

"dude, we have to talk. But before I do that, hey 'sexy'." I said, a smirk forming on my face as I sent him a mocking wink. I couldn't help but laugh at the way the blonde teen's cheeks turned red at that. I could tell Damien was concerned as he asked me what was wrong and what happened, it really disturbed me, he wasn't supposed to care this much..

"no, nothing like that, I just wanted to tell you..that I have to leave." i spoke up, trying to keep my voice gentle and soft, rubbing the back of my head again while looking down at the boy in front of me. I really tried to hide the hurt in my eyes, but I probably failed, judging by his reaction. Damien had looked away from me with a frown and I watched the way his eyes filled with sadness, concern and confusion. He was about to ask me something, but was disturbed by a knock on the door, followed by the guard's low voice. I couldn't make out what he was saying, but it was about me and it wasn't good. Before really thinking it through I was already on top of Damien's desk, paying no mind to the books that were laying on it, pulling myself up with ease before sliding through the window. I gave the prince one last glance before letting myself fall to the ground. I rushed towards the stables again, jumping on top of Angus without the loyal horse being saddled.

"Let's go buddy, it's getting dangerous here!" I told Angus, who whinnied as if he understood, (what he probably did because horses are very clever animals and can understand various forms of communication.) before moving and galloping through the garden. And then through the gate where Thomas was standing, baffled and confused as I disappeared into the forest for the second time that day.

I wasted no time with getting to the forbidden, magical side of the large forest, hoping that when I got to the camp, Mala would be there to take care of Angus. It didn't take much effort on my side to stay on top of the horse. I had gotten used to riding wild horses without a saddle, as a part of my training many years back. After an hour or two of steady galloping on Angus his part, I allowed him to take a few minutes of rest and drink something out of the creek that was there.

"What a day, huh, Angus?" I spoke to him and the only reply I got was some sort of snorting noise that had me smiling. We continued our journey after I had the feeling the horse was tired of resting. (He was starting to walk on his own, actually.) soon, it became dark and I told Angus to stop again.

"Let's just sleep here for the night, okay buddy?" it wasn't really a question and I had already decided that I was going to lay against a nice, big oak. Then, it started raining, but I was really too exhausted to care as I fell asleep almost directly after laying down.

Tomorrow was going to be one heck of a day for sure.
