SNSD Facts: Hyoyeon

Hyoyeon do prefer to laundry her own clothes.

Obsessive about cleanliness and hygiene. She hates the feeling of unbrushed teeth.

Clenches her jaw and makes sad faces on purpose when she sleeps because she hates when people sleep with their mouths open

she loves fast food like McDonald's but tries not to eat too much of it.

Almost always wears the ring on her left hand ring finger and her Tiffany's bracelet 

Considered to be one of the most independent members of SNSD.

Her good friends is JYP's Min, Kara's Nicole and Gyuri, 2PM's Junsu.

Debuted as BoA's silhoutte during 2005 MKMF Awards.

She received dance instruction from the Electric Boogaloos and top choreographers such as Kim Hye Rang, Poppin Seen, Kwang Hoo (aka Crazy Monkey), Poppin DS, Kwon Seok-Jin (aka Locking Khan) and ex-Black Beat’s / Beat Burger’s Shim Jae Won.

Prior to her debut, Hyoyeon traveled to Beijing, China in 2004 with Super Junior’s Siwon to learn Mandarin and more about Chinese culture.

Hyoyeon is ambidextrous, she actively use both of her left hand and right hand.

She is the mother of the group

When yuri came on the studio, hyoyeon together with jessica prank her and said to take her shoes off. Yuri get scared and enters ther room in barefoot holding her sandals on her hand but when she enters the room she saw everyone are with their shoes. [SNSD Intimate note]

When hyoyeon took to the emergency room because of car accident sooyoung can't hardly sleep so in the morning, sooyoung go to hospital to check if hyo is ok. But she saw hyoyeon sleeping unladily.( she saw her sleeping messily)

SNSD’s current mood maker but gets stage fright and can’t be funny on the spot. 

Usually sits in the front seat of their van so that she can talk to the managers and keep them awake while driving, But the managers try to send her back sometimes because she talks too much. 

When she was younger, her dad would make her do push ups and sit ups as punishment for making noise in public places

She used to steal her playmates' toys just to tease them when she was a kid.

Confident with powerful dances but is insecure about sexy dancing. When she trained in SM, she was put in the boys dancing class because of her power and talent. 

Often cooks breakfast, sets the table for the rest of the members cos she wakes up earliest and is a good cook. 

Helps with SNSD's choreography and often stays behind after her own practise to help the other members. Tiffany calls her Dance Teacher Hyo.

Can memorize a dance move/routine by just watching it once or twice.

Hyoyeon studied in China for a month and gained weight. The time she came back to Korea, Sooyoung called her Princess Fiona. She didn’t know who Princess Fiona was, but being called a Princess, she was happy. Until the time she learned who Princess Fiona was.

She enrolled at Winners Dance School. She has learned Jazz, ballet, hip-hop, belly dancing, popping and locking.

She entered SME in 2000 during Grade 5 of Elementary School.

She auditioned for Sm entertaiment at the age of 11 through SM 2000 Casting System.

Hyoyeon said that her reason was her mother bringing her to the offices of  SMent. in the hopes of meeting H.O.T.

Hyoyeon was also picked as Korea's #1 Idol dancer on Star News.

At her neighborhood's small hip-hop school, she learned Hiphop, jazz and latin dance.

Hyoyeon is more popular in U.S and in Europe

Hyoyeon and Yoona once asked for their manager’s car key they said they’re just gonna look at it, few moments later, a fan saw their manager running after the running car.

Hyoyeon was very popular in her childhood days that there was even a fanclub of her that only good looking guys in their school can join.

When hyoyeon, yoona, yuri and sooyoung were making a cake for seohyun, Hyoyeon really messing up with the cake. (SNSD hello baby ep 3)

Hyoyeon became a coach in Dancing 9 together with Yuri.

Hyoyeon appeared in many magazines and endorsement, like Vogue Korea, L'uomo Vogue. She was also chosen as the newest Asian ambassador for the Hong Kong branch of Topshop, a popular women’s fashion brand.
