SNSD facts: Taeyeon

Taeyeon's talents came from her parents. Her dad was a vocalist in a band, and mom had won children's song competitions when she was young.

Her brother once said, when Taeyeon was in middle school, she was already an ahjumma.

Taeyeon is nicknamed as “OST Queen” because she has numerous of #1 hit drama soundtracks.

Taeyeon has a infamous self-explanatory nickname, which is “Byuntaeng” (byuntae + taengoo, “byuntae” means “pervert”).

Tayeon loves jelly, gummy worms and the likes.

Taeyeon ran away from their dorm during her trainee days because of exhaustion.

Taeyeon is the type who hides her sadness in smiles.

She likes cactuses.

She hates aegyo. She once said she had a hard time being cute in "Gee"

She became a model of her parents' optical shop.

Taeyeon is dreadful using her left hand that she only types in the keyboard with her right hand.

she was very honored when she will duet with Kangta, when Taeyeon Kangta taught how to sing well Taeyeon always make a mistake because she did want to linger longer with Kangta.

Taeyeon had walked out of the house (walking during sleep), down from the ladder and go up again the next day she asked her father says she does not remember anything.

 She is the second best cooker in SNSD (Hyoyeon is the 1st)

She felt so honorable when she got to sing with ‘Kangta’. When he taught her how to sing she often made mistakes(actually on purpose cause Taeng wanted to be with Kanta as long as possible)

Fans call her ‘Hobbit’ because she is the second shortest among the members but she is proud of herself because shorties like her can do many things better than some tall people.

Fans call her 'OPPA' because she looks like very manly in Mr. Mr.

Once when she was recording a solo, she did not sing well and she could not reach the high notes. She tried recording it again many times but it was the same. She cried. Everyone was shocked to see Taeng crying. Fany (couldn’t walk at that time due to her leg injury) tried to get up and go to where Taeng was but Hyoyeon stopped her because she was not fully recovered from her leg injury. Taeng later said that she didn’t do well and she cried because she was worrying about someone. 

When the weather is dry, Taeng’s skin and throat becomes very dry so she tries very hard to drink lots of water but she couldn’t drink much water. She didn’t know why either.

During 'Kissing You' Performance, taeyeon's candy flew off the candy so she have to finish the performance with just a stick only.

She cares for her co-members a lot.
