Welcome to The Village, second book in the Ceristen Series!
The first book of this series, The Journey(not currently on Wattpad), traced the family of Thorne and their search for safety and security. Cast out of their meager home, they arrived at last in the country of Orden, in a small village called Ceristen, and there they are prepared to live in peace. Theirs was the story of journeys, both inward and outward.
This is a story of new beginnings...
It is also a story of love, of compassion, of belonging, of finding. But it is most of all the story of the village.
I like to think this story is reasonably standalone. If you want to take it on, go for it! *showers you with bananas and cookies* The Thornes are the only characters that you are meant to have previous acquaintance with, save for a few that showed up at the very very end of The Journey. Furthermore, I've included a table of characters on the following page, because there are a LOT OF CHARACTERS in this book and the only reason I keep them all straight is because I've written about them for four years. (Sometimes even I can't do it.)
Oh, and there's a character named Mordred in this story. *cough* I know the associations *cough* and I honestly don't care anymore *cough*
In all seriousness, though, my Mordred is not a psychopathic villain/tragic hero/whatever and the name has no allegorical significance, though you're free to note whatever weird parallels you find.
In conclusion: Wow, you made it this far! Are you actually interested in the book? If so, then please read it! *puppy dog eyes*
