School wasn't Dylan's strong suit but he always managed through it. The life of a teenager was never easy once the new government took over. Dylan always thought the dictator had a vendetta for children but then again his parents were wealthy so it didn't really affect him. As he walked back from school, the leaves of the fall that landed on him made him wonder why Canada used it as their mascot - he wasn't the brightest of children.
As he approached his school, something ran down his spine like a sense of something bad happening. He always had the knack for sensing danger but this was a Thursday morning in a school protected by the government -again he was wealthy. So what could possibly be the danger. So he overlooked the suspicious feeling and pushed on the door of the school hall. It was barely nine and the hallway was already clear of students. Even for an upper class school there were still rebellious students. Jackson and his so called crew to be exact. He walked through the halls expecting to find someone lurking about, but no one did. Normally Dylan wouldn't care but this was a bit frightening. His first class was English and as he approached the class he was so relieved to see it with students sitting so calmly on their desks. Even Jackson. He pulled on the handle of the door and all eighty two eyes of forty students and one teacher shot at him. Their looks packed a punch that made him want to run back home. After a few seconds the students lost interest in him and focused back to what Mrs. Jane was saying about Literature - Dylan's worst English section.
As the class went on with barely a word of Mrs. Jane finding its way into Dylan's head as he stared through the window daydreaming about monsters and comic book characters. This was immediately interrupted by the pounding of something invading the hallway floors. Dylan and the rest of the students were alarmed but only Dylan looked concerned. Its like everyone knew something he didn't. A few pounds later, a man dressed in camouflaged attire decorated with a badge Dylan knew was that of a Sergeant. He stepped into the classroom with the school principal Mr. Nathaniel. Dylan eventually found out what was making those pounds. The officers boots were massive and the looked like they were polished for a special occasion. Mr. Nathaniel stepped towards the English teacher and whispered something in her hear that seemed to bring up a scared expression on her face. She looked like they had just told her that she had been diagnosed with a terminal disease and that made the situation worse for the students. "If you hear your name, please step forward". Dylan felt his heart skip a beat because he saw on a news channel of students being called out from they're school and taken someplace but he never gave a second thought about it. Dennison Logan, Janet Patel, Frederick Jameson, Fiona Jameson - twins. As the officer went on Dylan almost puked when he heard Dylan Robertson. He hesitated before he stood up and joined the rest that they called out. Twenty students in total all lined up and led out if the class, never to be seen for a while.
