16: Home and Cuddles

Anthony (I BET YOU WEREN'T EXPECTING THAT) 

I looked at her as she sat across me, she was focused starring outside as we are thousands of feet above the ground. After the game, she got silent knowing that we're gonna be back in the plane where the men scared her. I told her we can catch the bus or something instead but she said she didn't want to bother Jake, so I just agreed. 

Looking at her makes me want to hug her and tell her that I'll always be here to protect her no matter what. She is my best friend and as a guy it's my job to protect her. She looked tired, she was a good cheerleader of our favorite team. She kept screaming even though we're already loosing the game. She had this CAVS spirit in her and I love that about her. She always thinks positively. 

"Hey you okay?" I asked her breaking the silence between us. It's already late at night, everyone is tired and fast asleep in the plane leaving the two of us. 

"Yeah I'am." She whispered, not wanting to wake up the sleeping Jake beside her. So do I, I don't want to wake up Chance either. 

I nodded and went back playing on my phone and she tried to sleep by hugging Jake's hoodie tighter. I should've brought my jacket so it will be my jacket she will be hugging. Within seconds, the pilot announced that there are still 5 more minutes until we land and that woke everyone up to put back their seat belts. 

I just can't wait to go home and have her stay the night at the Team 10 house because I won't make her go home on her own this late.

We had an Uber going home, since we didn't drive going to the airport and we didn't feel like waking anyone up just because we are arriving. Chance and Jake were alive on the drive back home because they fell asleep throughout the whole flight while Aton is just knocked out beside me snoring like a cute piglet. 

"You carrying her or should I wake her up?" Jake asked and I already know how she will wake her up. If he does that Aton will probably kill her. 

"Nah, I'll carry her." I promised Jake and carried Aton inside the house. Chance helping me by opening the door for us. Tessa and Erika are still downstairs talking about something we don't know, probably girl stuff. 

"Jake can she crash in the boys room?" I asked Jake and he just nodded. 

So I carried her in the boys room, putting her down to my bunk and she muttered goodnight to me. I kissed her forehead and said goodnight too, I removed her shoes and put her bag down on the floor beside the bed. I slept on the couch giving her all of the space besides Jake will be waking us up tomorrow morning for sure. 

"You like her don't you?" Chance asked poking his head over to see me from his bunk. 

"Maybe?" I shrugged. 

"You do. You've been nice to her ever since you two met." Chance noticed 

"And to add, you two are the closest in the house. Hence, she made a video with you." 

"That was your suggestion Chance that's the reason why she had me do that make up thing." I told him. 

It was one of the best times I had with her when we did that. It was so fun although I don't really have that much of ideas when it comes to make up. I just liked being near her and making her happy. 

"For sure she likes you too. Tessa and I can see it." Chance finished before slipping back to his bed and whispering goodnight to me. I turned off the lights to give them a proper sleep and drifted off to sleep too. Thinking about the things that happened earlier. 

Making her safe and happy means everything to me. 

Before I could even go back to sleep, I heard her voice said something. She was calling me. Her eyes half open. 

"Hey." I whispered sitting down on her bunk and she opened her eyes fully.

"Can you sleep beside me?" She asked looking so cute and all. 

"Sure, but do you want to get changed? You're so sweaty in that." I told her and I noticed that I haven't gotten changed at all too. 

She agreed with me. We both stood up she headed to the bathroom and I just got changed in the room since it's all boys, she needs privacy more than me. 

"Anthony I don't have clothes." She opened her door slightly. 

Oh yeah I forgot. 

I grabbed an unreleased Chanthony shirt to her and some of my Nike sweats before handing it to her. I got the same shirt and a gray Jake Paul sweats to sleep in. She got changed and her hair is now in a bun which still made her look beautiful and her make up is now removed. I got inside first and she joined me. 

I turned my back so I'm facing the wall but she did something the surprised me. She hugged me. Her arms over my chest area and her legs was on my legs. Making her look like a koala for sure. 

"Goodnight Toner!" She sighed and we both drifted off to sleep.
