So recently there is a website that has become popular called the 'Blue Whale'. When you sign up you are assigned an anonymous 'Master'. Your 'Master' will give you daily challenges, some include self harm, watching scary movies, and waking up at unusual hours of the night.
Everyday the challenges get increasingly worse until the fiftieth day where the "game" gets you to commit suicide.
Around your fortieth day of playing, your 'Master' urges you to download the app, and typically if you refuse they threaten you (most commonly that they will kill your parents). Once the app is downloaded, the people behind Blue Whale then hack your phone and make it impossible to delete the app. Which means that they have all your information after that.
Around 130 deaths have already occurred in Russia. People are being made to jump off buildings and bridges and throw themselves in front of train tracks.
It is also said that people post pictures of a blue whale carved into their bodies before they kill themselves.
Blue Whale is a sick, messed up social media "Game" that everyone should stay away from and NOT download! It is sick people preying on helpless teens and anyone who will listen.
Please tag anyone you know so you can prevent this from hurting anyone else. Tell your friends and family to stay away from this game and please stay safe!
If you know anyone playing this game then please, dear god, GET THEM OFF IT. Their life is in danger and you need to help them!
So please, nobody use Blue Whale. You will die.
