Poppys pov:

After we had high-fived Cloud Guy off the mushroom I had turned and looked an looked at Branch who was staring back at me I walked up to him and took his hands ''I can't believe after all these years you are finally happy''I said looking into his eyes I never realized how beautiful they were WAIT what did I just think? ''I know it feels great'' he said with a sweet smile snapping me back to reality.'' You know what?!'' I said excitedly.'' We should throw a party to celebrate, after all we did just kinda save the entire village'' I said not realizing I was still holding his hands. '' that sounds great, but I'm still going to have to get used to all the parties and hugging and things like that" He said " Don't worry you'll get the hang of it" I said as the mushroom slowly lowered

Branch's pov:
"Don't worry you'll get the hang of it" said Poppy smiling. She has a beautiful smile WAIT did I just think that! Little did we know that the mushroom was already on the ground and we were still holding hands we looked to see the entire village looking at us and giggling Guy Diamond was on the far left whispering " BROPPY 4-EVER" to the rest of the snack pack. Me and Poppy blushed and let go of each other's hands. Poppy had decided to start assigning pods for everyone she assigned me to a pod next to hers and I was really excited,to be honest I had always had a bit of a crush on her but there's no way she feels the same I'm glad we're friends and all but always wanted something more

Poppy's pov:

As queen I was in charge of assigning pods I assigned Branch's pod next to mine I kept trying to tell my self it was because he was my best friend but the truth is ever since the adventure I have developed a bit of a crush on him but there is no way he feels the same l saddened for o moment but went back to assigning pods little did I know I was being watched
