Poppys pov:
I ran from branch's pod to mine. I ran in and shut the door. I'm not hurt, I'm not angry....I'm worried. This isn't him something's wrong, but what? Why won't he tell me? Is he in danger? Millions of questions were racing through my mind I didn't know what was wrong, but one things for sure...I needed to find out.
I sat on my bed trying to figure out. I know how stubborn he is and I know he won't tell me, so I needed to find out my self. I eventually heard a knock at my door. "Come in" I stated. Only to see my friend DJ. " hey, are you ok you've been in here for a while?" She asked."I'm fine" I lied. "Oh please, you know I know you you better then that, what's wrong?" She asked. "I told you I'm fine" the last thing I wanted was to get my friends mixed up in all this."Come on you can tell me." She said. After about five minutes of begging, I finally broke down and told her everything.
"I agree, he would never hurt you like that somethings definitely wrong, and he won't talk to you?" She asked. "No, he won't even look at me,I'm really worried, what should I do?" I asked. "Maybe your involved in this somehow and that's why" she replied. "How would I be involved and why would he need to stop talking to me?" I asked. "It's just a thought." She replied. I sighed. "Hey,I'm sorry but I just need some time alone to think" I said. "It's ok I'm sorry I wasn't much help, but I'm sure you can figure this out" she said smiling. " thanks" I replied. We hugged and she left leaving me alone with my thoughts.
Third person pov:
As she left DJ had decided to take things into her own hands and talk to him herself. She went my to his pod and knocked. When no one answered she knew he was ignoring her and went in. he then was Branch sitting on the floor hugging his knees. " what do you what?" He said with his head down. "What I want is to know why your I ignoring my friend and you girlfriend." He didn't answer." What's wrong with you?" She said. Nothing." Look, I don't know what's going here but you've really worried her remember that." She said then left leaving him alone once again.
