"So how are you and your lady friend?" Dean asked me as soon as I walked into the kitchen. I rolled my eyes and grabbed a bag of twizzlers."We're good," I simply told him. "She's afraid to sleep on her own. She doesn't like to be left alone for long because she's afraid that she'll end up back in hell," I told him as Sam walked into the kitchen with his hair all messed up. I rolled my eyes and grabbed two cokes out of the fridge.
"She is attached to you like you two are glued together," Sam commented as he made himself a cup of coffee. "Are you sure that there isn't another reason why she stays by your side?" He questioned. I stopped midway when I was grabbing a bag of popcorn. I furrowed my eyebrows in confusion, not knowing where they were going with this.
"What other reason would there be?" I asked as I popped the popcorn into the microwave. I heard Dean choke on his beer and Sam sigh as he fixed his hair.
"I don't know," He responded with an expectant look. I shrugged and leaned on the counter to face them. "Anyway," he shook his head at me. "- how did shopping go?"
"She's got enough clothing and girl stuff to last her awhile," I told him and rolled my eyes when I saw Dean grab another beer. "I got myself a few new outfits too since I barely brought any clothes with me after I got kicked out of the pack."
"I still want to kill them after what they did to you. It's not like you could control yourself. The Nogitsune made you do all that bad stuff but here they are, blaming you as if you did it and not that son of a bitch," Dean gruffly told me as he glared down at the table, his lips going up in disgust as he thought about them. "You don't need them anyway, you have us." He took a gulp of his beer.
"Yeah, like that's suppose to make me feel better," I spoke as the microwave went off, telling me that the popcorn was done. I took it out of the microwave and got everything situated into my arms so that I could carry it all to my bedroom.
"What is that suppose to mean?" Dean asked as I walked out of the kitchen with a smirk on my face. "Hey! What was that suppose to mean!?" He hollered after me. I shook my head as chuckles escaped me.
"Snacks?" I asked as I walked into my bedroom to find Allison putting her hair up in a messy bun.
"Twizzlers?" She asked excitedly as I threw the bag of twizzlers and popcorn on my bed. I laughed and watched as she ripped open the bag and stuffed a twizzler in her mouth. I sat down on my bed, beside her and held out a can of coke towards her. She took it with a smile on her face. "You're a life saver." She opened up the coke as I opened up mine too. "Hey," she said softly as she looked up at me. "– i've been meaning to ask you something," She told me with a slight frown on her face.
"What is it?" I asked, sitting up straighter as I turned my body to stare at her.
"What did you mean by 'case' yesterday." I shot her a confused look so she continued. "When we were leaving to go to the mall, you told Sam and Dean to have fun finding a case. What did you mean by that? And please, the truth," She told me as she looked down at her hands and then back up at my face. I felt myself break as I looked at the look she was giving me.
"Oh, uh, are you sure you want to know?" I asked and she nodded her head, entwining her hands together. "The truth is scary," She nodded her head again. "Okay, do you believe in the supernatural?"
"I was in hell for a very long time, getting tortured by demons, i'm pretty sure that I believe in the supernatural," She told me, her eyes getting serious. She grabbed my hands in her's and put them in her lap, looking up into my eyes. "You won't scare me away, if that's what you're worried about," She told me. I gulped as I looked into her fierce brown eyes. "I'll never leave you." I felt my heartbeat speed up as I realized what I was about to tell her.
"Okay, well my dad, uncle and I are hunters. We hunt monsters, demons, you know, the scary things that hide under your bed. We save people from the things that go bump in the night," I explained and her eyes widened a bit, her hold on my hands tightening a bit. "Are you scared?" I asked her, looking down at our entwined hands.
"Yes." I grew sad at that one word that came out of her mouth. "But–" I looked up at her in the eyes. "Not for the reasons you think that I am." She let go of my hands and tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear. "I'm scared that you might die by going out there and fighting a monster." I kept my eyes on her intense brown ones. She surprised me when she wrapped her arms around my neck, hugging me. She buried her head in my neck as I nuzzled my way into hers. I sighed as I knew that she wasn't going to run away.
"There's something else," I said and gulped as she let go of me and looked me in the eyes again.
"What is it?" She asked, her eyes getting wide.
"You used to be a hunter too," Her mouth fell agape as she was shocked. "Not just any hunter though–" I paused as I grabbed her hand in mine. "A werewolf hunter."
"Was I badass?" She asked and I chuckled since I was happy that she wasn't running away.
"You were very badass." We both chuckled.
"Will you help me train to become a hunter?" She asked, shocking me. "I mean, I was a hunter before but I have no memories of it. For all I could know, I might've forgot how to fight, too, so I want you to train me to be hunter...again," She told me and I looked at her in shock.
"Be a werewolf hunter is dangerous but being a full hunter, it's a whole lot worse." I grabbed both of her hands in mine as I looked at her with all seriousness. "Are you sure you want to do this?"
"Yes."
