Blake's POV

Walking through this legal jail, called high school, searching for my cell, also known as my classroom I begin to wonder who thought of forcing children to wake up early only to go to hell. Oh there it is, room 126. I have my bag on my back and this stupid hall pass in my hand. I don't know why I even carry around my bag, I never bring any of my stuff to class because even though I have to be here does not mean I have to give a shit. It is November yet I'm pretty sure no one gives two shits about anything anymore. I get kinda excited at the thought that Ethan, Liam, Wyatt, and Andre are in same cell with me, but I can not avoid my dread as I finally find the dreaded class.

I open the door and nonchalantly walk in scanning the room for my bros. As my eyes scan the room my eyes land on a girl. I look at her caught in mid-laugh as she swings her thick curly brown hair over her shoulders. Ba Bump. For the first time in over a year, my heart started beating, but the world at the same time stopped spinning. There was this girl sitting at the desk in front of where I was standing. I knew who she was but I did not know her, and I wanted to know her. Her brown eyes look into my blue ones almost causing me to stumble back with something... I don't even know how to put to words. She smiles. I stand. Frozen. Like the idiot I am.

"Como te llamas? Oh you must be Blake. Go sit down in a seat before I call the principle." Geez, it has not even been thirty seconds and I already know this guy is gonna make my life hell. Once again my eyes scour the room, this time rather than looking at the faces of the blobs that sit in their seats I look for the seats themselves. Finally finding an empty one I see that it is not that close to my friends but is only a few seats behind this girl.. I'm not complaining about that since I got a great view of her ass.

I felt like I couldn't breathe, my heart stopped and I didn't know what to do as she walked up to my desk. Act natural. You can do this. No I can't. WTF CALM DOWN BRO. As my brain is having an inner civil war, I feel her presence at my desk, looking up at her beautiful face my brain gave up all actions and just stared waiting to make a move.

"Hey." she said looking at my face with a look I couldn't analyze. Her eyes wander from my face to the paper in her hands several times before this angel's lips speak another word. Angel? WTF is the wrong with me I am not a girl.

"Blake? The asshole sitting as his desk gave me this paper, thinking it was mine but it obviously isn't, so here ya go." she smiled handing me the paper.

My brain was still frozen trying to figure out what to do. Trust me, I have spoken to plenty of girls before but this one is special. My finally splutters out, " Tha- thanks. And your name i- is?"

"Sierra." she says before turning around responding to Justin calling her name from his seat. Damn it! I wanted her to stay here, why did Justin have to ruin the moment? She takes a seat near Justin, which is also near Wyatt. Wyatt is a monkey faced idiot who is probably one of the best baseball players on my team. Him and I have been teammates since the little leagues but friends since middle school. Justin is probably the funniest person I have ever met and we have yet to have a conversation where I didn't end up laughing. They are a small part of our squad but definitely the best people to be surrounded by. Our squad is filled with "good looking" people. Not my words but the words of those girls in our grade who judge from afar. Would I agree? Probably, but only if I batted for that team, you know what I mean?

This class would be so fun if we didn't have such a killjoy, as a teacher. Staring at the teacher for a second and tilting my head to the side my mind wanders trying to create a perfect name. Mr. Ass . It's perfect.

Sitting their for another moment my eyes wander back to that girl, Sierra. She is sitting at the desk comparing notes but laughing so hard that tears spring to her eyes. Deciding to grow some balls I attempt to walk over to his desk to talk to her, but as I am a few steps away Mr. Ass decides that it is the perfect time to run his big mouth. I am so going to hate this guy.

The period ended with no other attempts made to talk to Sierra. Gathering my stuff together while simultaneously talking to Liam and Ethan, I watch Sierra throw her bag on her back and walk out of the class. My mouth stretched to a frown as I watch her talk to her friends before walking away, joining the masses of prisoners. The guys seem to have noticed my frown, and followed my eyes to the girl who I felt my heart falling for. Omg, what is happening to me?

"Tha - thanks, what's your n-name?" Liam mocks my prior words. I give him a look of embarrassment as well as excitement. The other boys laugh as my cheeks turn pink. Thanks Sierra, I'm now the laughing stock for my friends.

"Dude stoppppp" I squeak as I run off into the masses of bodies, hoping to find her again. Nope, I can't find her, which means my next class. Math.

Two months. That's how long I have been a freshman, and have been in this math class. This math class has the best teacher ever. Him and I are cool, he knows what's up. So when I walk into the class, he calls me over to his desk.

"Yo Blake," we do our handshake and then we continues, "what's with the long face?" Mr. Cad is not old by any means. He is probably in like his mid-twenties from what I can tell and is not married either. Most kids would cringe at his use of slang, but no one gets offended or defensive because he is one of us, he is not our teacher. Mr. Cad is just a better educated teen, that has the right to make of mothers want to yell at us.

"Nothing, I just... have you ever met a girl who you can't get out of your head?" I ask actually looking for an answer that could hopefully help me.

"Blake, are you in love?" He says looking at me for a quick second before he begins to get ready to teach his class.

"Not yet, Mr. Cad, I don't know her yet." I answer honestly, only because he would not judge me. We have all had that teacher that we trust.

"If you say so. Now get to your seat so I can be an adult." I move but my mind wanders to the future, and instead of seeing thousands of cats, for the first time I see a girl. A girl with brown hair and brown eyes.
