i screamed & hugged my mom. i haven't gone to california in so long , last time i went , i was 9 y/o. my dads side of the family all live in california but im never allowed to go there because my mom doesn't have a good relationship w my dads family & thinks it's not a good idea for me to go. my dad died in a plane crash last year on his way to california to go visit his family. i was really heartbroken because honestly , i was a lot closer to my dad than my mom. but now it's just me , my mom , & my brother. but my brother is going to college so ig it's just my mom & i. "when do we leave ?" i asked my mom who was now making herself lunch. "like sometime in august," she replied. "oh thank god," i sighed in relief. i thought she was gonna say a week from now or something. i ran up to my room & flopped onto my bed. i just kept staring at my ceiling , smiling. until i heard my phone vibrate. it was bryce. (bryce 😽💘) bryce 😽💘 : hey babygirl , today was fun 😏. i was wondering if you wanted to go to the lake w tayler & i tomorrow ? i ran back downstairs to ask my mom. "hey mom , can i go to the lake tomorrow w bryce & his friend ?" i asked. "how long are you going to be there ?" she said. "i don't know , lemme ask." i texted bryce. me : im asking my mom rn & she's wondering how long will we be there ? bryce 😽💘 : from 10 am - 4 pm me : alrite thanks "bryce said from 10 am to 4 pm," i said looking up at my mom. "okay , but be careful & bring sunscreen & don't get hurt or anything." "yeah yeah mom , ill be fine." i said running up the stairs into my room. i texted bryce to tell him i was going. me : my mom said yes , so do i need anything besides a swimsuit , sunscreen , all the original essentials ? bryce 😽💘 : mmm ... i don't think so. ill lyk if you do in the morning. me : alright , ig ill see you tomorrow. bryce 😽💘 : okay , & tomorrow we can finish what we started 😉. me : oh god i hate you 😂😂. bryce 😽💘 : nahhh you love me 😂. me : 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️ bryce 😽💘 : 😂🖕🏼

i was currently live on instagram. "hey guys ask me questions & ill try to answer as much as i can," i said. i started reading comments. one asked , 'would you date a fan ?' i read the question out loud. "yes id date a fan," i replied. 'what's the oldest & youngest you'd date ?' "youngest would be 14 , & oldest would be around 17/18." 'are you talking to anyone at the moment ?' "i mean , im talking to you guys , right ?" i laughed knowing what she actually meant. i started reading & answering more questions but then i got tired of it. "okay guys im going to get off now , ill see you guys later , byeeee," i said waving to the camera before ending the livestream. i had already packed for the lake tomorrow , so i decided to scroll through instagram. i came across a picture of one of my "friends" , Clarissa May. (they're not dating irl , but let's pretend bryce has a semi-crush on her in this story 😂) goddamn she's hot. i realized i was biting my lip & immediately stopped. on her birthday , she was filming a birthday/vidcon vlog & wanted me to kiss her in it for the thumbnail. so we kissed ... a couple times. but no one believe that we kissed for a thumbnail , everyone thought we liked each other or was dating , but we're not.

i do think she's attractive & her personality is amazing but ik she doesn't like me so i don't try. i mean yeah i met kayla , but idk her like clarissa. that's why im trying to get to know kayla a lot more. she's different. tomorrow , im going to give kayla a day she won't ever forget. i turned off my phone & started smiling real big thinking ab what's going to happen tomorrow & drifted off to sleep.
