1 Day Later:Daisy's P.O.V

So since I've been bed ridden for the day I have to be away from Evie until the end of the day.Mal snuck me Evie's magic mirror so I can keep an eye on Evie throughout the day.But with me being stuck in Evie's bed I've gotten to think about what happened the other night.Jay would never dare to hurt me or Evie, especially Evie because he knows that I would kill him.Figuratively not literally, well I would beat the crap out of him but not kill him. All of my thoughts started to scramble so I sat up in bed and reached over to grab Evie's mirror.I just looked at it and thought of Jay and next thing I knew he popped up on the glass.My surprise disappeared when I saw Jay banging on the bars and he looked afraid.I felt the need to go see him even though Mal and Ben said that it would be a bad idea.I move the blanket off of my legs and moved my legs to touch the ground.I slipped my shoes on and headed out the door.

As I was walking I found myself hiding from Mal, Carlos, and Ben.I checked the mirror and saw that Evie was studying with Doug in the library so I made sure to avoid the library.I found were they hold dangerous people on campus and made my way inside.It was pretty much empty which didn't surprise me but there were about 3 older looking people and they looked terrifying.As I got to the end of one hallway I heard banging.I turned to my left and found 2 guards standing in front of a cell. When I walked up they both looked at me then at the cell."Ms.Daisy I don't think it's a good idea to be down here."One of them says making me look at him. "Daisy.Daisy,can you please tell me what's going on."I hear Jay say from behind the guards.I motioned for the guards to walk away and they did."Dais why am I in here?What's going on?"Jay asks scared."You attacked Evie."I say and he looked at me confused."I what?No I would never."

He says as he puts his hands on his head and walked to the back of his cell."You attacked her and you tried to attack me."I say and he looked over at me."No.You're like my little sister.I would never try to hurt you."He says and walks towards me making me back up a bit.He looked at me hurt and confused."You're afraid of me?"He says and I could see that he was about to tear up.I took Evie's mirror out of my pocket and looked down at it. "Mirror show me what happened in the library."I say and it started to play the scene.I faced the mirror towards Jay and he watched in horror. Before it ended I heard footsteps walking this way so I put the mirror away."Dais you know that I would never hurt you or Evie.I've never done anything like that before.I don't even remember that full day."He says then Ben walked around the corner and looked at me."Daisy what are you doing here?"He asks me and I just keep my eyes on Jay.

"Tell me what you remember."I say to Jay and he looked down thinking."Daisy you....."Ben started but I put my hand up making him stop talking. "Tell me."I almost demand and Jay looked up. "I remember waking up and going to Tourney practice then I hung out with Carlos for a little while until he went to go and play with Dude in the garden.I was just wondering around the castle and then everything is blank until I woke up here this morning and no one was telling me what was going on."Jay says and I look into his eyes.I didn't see the look from that night.He was back to himself but I want to know where he went."I'll be back.Hopefully with some answers."I say to Jay and he nodded."Don't do anything to him."I say to Ben and he nods.I walked out of the lock up and saw students walking around.As I walked along I saw Carlos sitting with Jane in the Garden playing with Dude.I walked over to them and I'm guessing Jane saw me because she looked surprised which made Carlos turn towards me.

"Daisy what are you doing out of bed.You aren't supposed to be walking around till tomorrow." Carlos says and I nod."I have to find out what happened the day Jay attacked Evie."I say and Carlos looked at me wide eyed."Did you go and talk to him?"He asks and I nod."He told me that he can't remember what happened after you left him to go and play with Dude here."I say and Carlos shakes his head."And you believe him?"He asks disappointed."I saw something in his eyes that night.That wasn't Jay who was attacking Evie.Him not being able to remember anything that day is making me think."I say and Carlos looks at Jane. "Think what?"Jane asks."That somebody used Jay to get to Evie."I say and Carlos looks down."That's crazy."He says."Jay is your best friend.He's our family.He would never hurt any of us with his own will."I say and Carlos thinks for a moment."Do you remember anything out of the ordinary that day?" I ask him and he shakes his head.
