Saying Goodbye

1 Week Later:Jane's P.O.V.

This week has been one of the best weeks I could ever ask for.I finally got to meet my grandmother. Mother told me many stories about her, about how she was one of the most powerful fairies to walk the earth.She said that she wished she could be just like her mother when she grew up.Mother said that my grandmother passed away when I was really young so I wouldn't be able to remember her.But being able to talk to my grandmother and hang out with her all week I feel like I've known her forever.I just have one problem, it's officially Saturday which means it's time for me to say goodbye to my grandmother.I'm not looking forward to this and neither is my mother.Daisy has made sure to steer clear of me and my family so we can spend as much time together as we can.I notice that when Daisy see's me, my mother, and my grandmother she seems very upset.Grandmother planned a little lunch for us to say our goodbyes.As I was arriving I noticed Daisy walking down the steps to get to the courtyard.Grandmother and mother stood up and looked at both of us.When I reached Mother and grandmother, Daisy walked up to us.

"Evie told me that you asked for me to meet you here." Daisy says to Grandmother and she nodded."Why don't you girls take a seat?"Mother says and we all sit down awkwardly."Okay so we all know what today is.I will be going back to my original body and leaving my loved ones forever.I wanted to get all of my girls together to tell them goodbyes in a proper way."Grandmother says and I looked at her confused."What do you mean Grandmother?"I ask her making each of them look at me."Darling before you were born I was sent to the Isle of the Lost.I had done something very bad and I was paying the price.While I was on the Isle I befriended Lefou and his wife.I was there for their Daisy's birth and was there for Lefou's wife's funeral.I stepped up and took care of Daisy for a few years then I was brought back to Auradon.For a good part of Daisy's life I was the only mother figure she had.I left Daisy without saying goodbye and I'm sure it wounded her deeply so I feel like she deserves a better goodbye from me." Grandmother says and I looked at Daisy.

Daisy had some tears in her eyes and when they fell she put her head down."Jane why don't we give them a moment."Mom says making me look at her then at Grandmother and Daisy.I nodded then mother and I got up and walked to the end of the courtyard.I watched Grandmother grab hold of Daisy's hands and smile while tears ran down both of their faces.Daisy nodded while grandmother said something then they hugged and Daisy closed her eyes.When they pulled away Daisy wiped her face then got up.She looked over at me and smiled then walked away and left the courtyard.Mother and I walked back over to Grandmother and saw her wiping her tears away.She stood up and walked over to mother and I then grabbed our hands.

"Why don't we go and get some tea?"Grandmother says and mother nodded.We sat down and talked for a little while until Mal came and told us it was time.Mother and I grabbed hold of Grandmother's hands and followed Mal to the enchanted caves that Audrey and I discovered when we were young.As we got closer I noticed a few people standing around the entrance of the caves. Jay turned and saw us then called down into the cave. "Daisy, Evie. They're here."He says and a few moments later Evie emerged with Daisy close behind.They both looked at us then at everyone else."Ms.Judith is there anything else you would like to say before we begin?"Daisy asks and Grandmother thought for a moment."I just want to let you all know that I'm very thankful for you all. All of you have showed me so much love and I hate that I am unable to pay you back for it." Grandmother says."Judith you have paid us back. You gave us Fairy godmother and Jane. And you gave us Daisy, she wouldn't be who she is today without you."Jay says and Mal and everyone else nodded."No I believe you all did that."

Grandmother says and looks at Jay, Carlos, Mal, and Evie. Evie grabbed Daisy's hand and they smiled at each other."Okay. I think I'm ready." Grandmother says and me and Mother look at her. We both hugged her tight then watched her walk over to Evie and Daisy. "You take care of that beautiful daughter of yours my flower." Grandmother says before they walked into the cave."I will Mother.I promise."Mother says and wraps her arm around my side.Grandmother smiled then followed Daisy and Evie into the cave. A few tears slipped as she disappeared and mother hugged me tight.

Daisy's P.O.V.

I helped Evie climb down into the cave with Ms.Judith behind us.When me and Evie got to the bottom of the cave I asked her to set things up while I helped Ms.Judith.Evie pecked my cheek then went and started putting everything in order. I walked over to Ms.Judith and helped her climb down the rest of the rocks.Before we walked over to Evie, Ms.Judith grabbed my hand and turned me towards her slightly. "Is something wrong Ms.Judith?"I ask her and she shakes her head but then points over at Evie."Look at that beautiful young woman over there."She says and I looked over at Evie."She is the most important thing.Not the magic, not using yourself as a punching bag for stupid angry people.Don't put that girl into any crazy situations unless she joins in willingly.Put her before the magic.I forgot to tell Maleficent that and she ended up heart broken."Ms.Judith says making me look at her.I nodded and Ms.Judith smiled then we continued over to Evie."Okay everything is ready."Evie says and I nodded.

Evie's P.O.V.

Judith led Daisy to a wall on the other side of the cave and I saw Daisy jump slightly.She knelt down and placed her hand on something.I shifted to my left slightly and saw an old woman's body laying inside of a little indent in the wall.Judith knelt down next to her and placed her hand on Daisy's shoulder.She smiled then laid down and rested her head next to the woman then closed her eyes.
