Chapter 7

He just stood there for a few seconds "hey" he said with his head down. I ignored him and pushed passed him while pulling Ethan by the hand. I saw that all his suitcases at the door. I look at him standing at there looking at me. "Hey E my room is right over here" I said leading him to my room leaving Noah at the door.

"Empty" he said nodding his head while looking around my room, "well I did just move here like 3 days ago" I said as I looking through the mirror. "Really?" He said looking at me. I smile at him "yea why do I look like I've lived here all my life" I said as I wrapped one of my scarves around me and bowed a little he giggled as I drop on the mattress. "So what do you want to do?" He asked dropping next to me. At the same time we both get a text I got one from Macey and Ethan got one from his sister Cameron we both answer it and go back to talking.

After a while Ethan and I started telling stories about our childhoods.

But the more and more I was telling stories most of them had Noah in them. And the more I thought of it the sadder I got, and the next thing I know I'm crying. "And gray was screaming his lungs ou- oh my god are you okay" he stops telling his story and comes and comforts me.

"You should go" i said wiping my tear away. He just looked at me and said "not until you tell me what's wrong" "ETHAN JUST GO" I yelled. Ethan hesitantly got up but just left.

When he left I cried more I just sat on my bed and cried and cried. I got up and ran down to the garage and drove I kept diving. I didn't know where but I was just driving. I lost my best friend

We were friends since 1st grade. I loved him, I stoped the car and ran on a track going up a hill I stopped walking when I saw the Hollywood sign. I saw a ladder that was leading up every letter I went up the D I sat on top of there. I mean I was scared out of my mind but I tried to forget about it I tried to clear my mind it wasn't working I tried to forget about Noah but that's all I could think of.

I went on my phone and I went through my camera roll the first thing I saw was a video of Noah it was in a motel in Iowa we stopped there in our way to L.A. He was kissing me and telling me he loved me.

Having kids

Growing old together

And now that's all over

I lost my soulmate and my best friend in the matter of one text. It was over... and I couldn't change that.

I saw the time and it was 5 I got down and started walking to my car. I got in and drove back home and when I got home no one was there. I saw all of Noahs stuff gone. My eyes started watering but I blinked away the tears I went to my clothes and changed into a off the shoulder olive dress with gladiator sandals I put in makeup and left my apartment I didn't know where I was gonna go but I knew I wanted to get out.

I forgot how it felt to be single. To not have to worry about my boyfriend. I checked to see where I was, I was at the grove. A few guys checked me out as I went into a spa I asked if they were hiring a few minutes later I was working there they gave me my uniform and said showed them my schedule for school so I could work around my school schedule.

I honestly didn't need job I'm a trust fund brat so I had enough money in my bank account. But I needed something to get my mind off him.

I was there for a few hours but time flies by when your 'having fun' I hated my new job it was so boring by the time I left it was 7 I ran into a few of my friends on my way home it was Faith, Gray, Amelia, Emma and some random guy I didn't know but honestly he was kinda hot. I ran up to Faith in the middle of taking a photo and pushed her into the sand "What the fuck haven't you caused me enough pain!" She yelled but then we both started laughing I helped her up.

I said "hi" to everyone an introduced myself to Steve "Hi my names Eva" I said holding out my hand for him to shake it "h-hi i'm Steve" he said as he shakes my hand he had a big grip on my hand I looked at his biceps they were huge but not as big as Ethans I needed to see him again but I knew it was a one time thing. I ended up leaving after a few minutes and I went home.

I opened the door and I heard Macey screaming "OH MY GOD JAKE UHHHH" I started laughing so hard tears came out. I was in the mood to watch a movie and fall asleep on the couch but right when I started my movie I saw Macey come out her room. Her hair was a mess and she was in lingerie her lipstick was smudged all around her mouth "Hey Eva" she said as she walked to the kitchen "hey Mace" I said while getting up to run after her "why are you following me" she said while trying to fix her hair.

"What I can't hang out with my best friend?" I put my hand at my heart as if I was offended. "No I'm just saying" she said as she took a bag of pretzels out the pantry. "By the way why we're there so many noises coming from your room?" I said looking at her as she stuffed a bunch of pretzels in her mouth "wa" she muffled because of the pretzels in her mouth "hey bring the pretzels lets go to your room" I started to walk to her room before she jumped on top of me causing a loud noise making Jake come out of her room only in a pair of jeans.

"Fuck" Macey mumbled to herself "you sure did fuck him" I said poking fun at her . She was still on top of me so she banged my head on the floor "Ow" I said pushing her off me and getting while rubbing my head i look at Jake and he's laughing. Macey runs to him and pulls him into the room.

I sat back on the couch and continued my movie a few minutes later Macey and Jake came out the room again this time fully clothed. I turn around and say "where are you guys goin" Jake turned around "Dinner wanna come" he said "nah I'm kinda tired" they nodded and walked to the door. Once they were about to leave I said "don't have too much fun" Macey quickly closed the front door.

After an hour of being alone I get a notification from Instagram
