Chapter 8

Ethans POV:

I was at dinner with my family tonight. She couldn't get out of my head. Why did she kick me out? Did i do something wrong?

When Gray, and I got to the restaurant mom, dad, and Cameron weren't there so I just sat at the table on my phone. When I got on my social media I thought I should search Eva up. I found her I requested to follow her and the next minute she accepted. I sat down thinking weather I should DM her or not but I did anyway

Ethan:Hey Grace.

It took her a while to respond, I started to get nervous.  So nervous Gray noticed "bro you okay?" Gray sat up with a worried look.

I saw she replied so I ended up ignoring Gray.

Eva:Sup Grant

Before I could even respond Mom, Dad, and Cameron came. Gray and I got up to greet them my mom comes up to me and hugs me "Oh Ethan I missed you so much!" My mom started hugging me tighter.

Cam came up and hugged me "who was that girl you were at the party with last night?" She whispered in my ear.

Is she talking about Eva? How does she know?

She went to Grayson and whispered in his ear too. We sat down and started talking.

Evas POV:

I was still waiting for him to respond. I wanted to apologize for kicking him out today.
He took to long so I ended up just watching the movie.

11:00 pm

After I was half asleep I heard a notification from my phone.

It was Ethan.

Ethan:Hey I know it's late but I was wondering if I could come over I kinda don't want to spend the rest of my night with my family.

Eva:Sure, do you remember my address.

I gave him my address and in the next five minutes he was at my door.

"Hey!" I opened the door and went in for a hug. I was still in the same clothes as I was earlier today. "Hey I'm sorry for bothering you" he looked sincere.

Maybe he's still caught up about this morning.

"No worries come in sit on the couch, lets watch a movie" we still spoke to each other as if we were strangers, I guess we are but didn't last night sorta changed that.

we sat down in the couch and started watching Grave Encounters 2 it was my favorite scary movie.

12:45

I looked at Ethan and he looked like he was gonna shit himself "uh are you okay" I smirked once he heard me he put his arm over me acting cool "yea babe I'm fine"

Babe?

I ignored it "hey I'm gonna go get some popcorn" I removed his arm over me and got up "uhh I'll come with you" he turned off the tv and ran after me.

"Scared much?" I smirked as I put the popcorn in the microwave "nah I'm chill" he flipped his hair with a smile

I walked to the fridge seeing that he was following me everywhere I went he followed. It was kinda cute, but I'll admit I acted the same way when I first watched it.

"I need to use the bathroom be right back" I walked off to the bathroom I knew he was terrified I decided to prank him.

When I closed the bathroom door I grabbed a bunch of fake blood and put little drops under my eyes as if I was crying blood.

After I messed my hair up and made myself look traumatized I ran back to the living screaming.

"OH MY FUCK ARE OKAY?" he ran to me and grabbed me. "WHAT HAPPENED IN THERE?" I couldn't help myself so I laughed and blew the whole prank.

He pushed me out his arms and walked away "I actually thought you were possessed you asshole" he was leaning on the counter rubbing his temples.

I washed off the blood and continued to laugh.

I grabbed the popcorn then sat back on the couch continued the movie.

After the movie finished we ended up watching an episode of family guy to waste time.

When we got off the couch to clean up "wait wait pause you have a balcony?" He pointed at the balcony with the most surprised face ever.

"Yea, did you not notice it?" I walked with a few bowls in my hand bringing them to the kitchen "NO!" He marched after me still pointing towards the balcony.

"If You want you can go out there" I tied up my hair looking at him "I will... if you come with me"

"Your hilarious" I said sarcastically "I am pretty funny but this isn't a joke" I rolled my eyes. He's so cocky it's cute though.

I walked to couch and clicked on the next episode of Family Guy "why not" he crossed his arms banging his feet walking towards me.

"Im scared of heights" I hit him with a pillow "one why did you hit me with a pillow two WHY DO YOU LIVE ON THE TWENTY FUCKING FOURTH FLOOR THEN" he started shaking me.

"Its my favorite number" I smiled turning around to him behind the couch.

"Your so stupid" he picks me up and throw me over his shoulder "your coming with me" he walks toward the balcony door and opens the door.

He closed the door and put me down. I felt my legs trembling and the thought of the balcony collapsing and me falling to my death kept crossing my mind.

Ethan saw I was terrified he goes behind me and puts his hands on my waist. I felt calmer "I got you" he rested his chin on my shoulder and we watched the night sky.

It was relaxing.

A cold breeze hit us "hey I have a spot we can go to up in the canyon, wanna go?" He whispers, I look at him and nod.

We went down to the garage and he drove us there. He took out a blanket from the backseat of his truck and lays it and we sat down.

We looked out into the city.

Ethans POV:

She sat down next to me laying her head on my shoulder. Her light brown eyes were shining because of the lights coming from the city. Her hair fell down her shoulders they had little blonde tips.

Honestly I know I just met this girl but she's amazing.

She was perfect

But I know this can't last.

"Sorry about this morning when I kicked you out, I was just sad because I kept thinking of my ex an-" I cut her off by shushing her.

We then layed down and stared in the sky "hey that kinda looks like a cat"
she points at some stars cluttered together to form a sorta cat shape.

She kept pointing out little things in the sky.

We both ended falling asleep looking in the sky.

Evas POV:

6:45

I woke up cause the sun was shining directly into my eyes I ended up groaning loud enough to wake up Ethan.

"Wanna go to the beach?" He got up with a smirk.
