2 weeks later...

"Kick off your shoes and relax your feet and party on down to the escape beat, just kick it."

I sing as I watch one of my favorite 90s group sing on stage.

After Algee and I took a break, I decided I should do me and stay out of  public since I'm already a celebrity's girlfriend. So right now, I decided to go to a concert with my best friend Tyra and have some fun.

"Hey can we have one special person come up and sing with Xscape now!" Kandi shouted into the mic and the crowd goes wild.

"Girl, you should go up there," Tyra says to me. "You got some vocals and I know that." Yeah, true. I can sing. I actually was in a group back in high school with Tyra. She was the rapper and I was the main singer, and the rest were backing vocals.

"Hell no," I say. Tyra frowns.

"Stop being so scary. You can finally get out of Algee's shadow and be yourself," She says. I nod.

"Yeah, you're right." I start to raise my hand, but they already picked someone else.

"Aww man... they got someone else," I saw. Tyra shakes her head.

"It's cool. Don't stress, you know my cousin got a studio right here in ATL." I nod, not very happy with them picking another person.

The person starts to sing with Xscape and was totally off beat and not in the right key. Tiny srunches up her face and shakes her head.

"Let's give someone else a try," Tamika says. I smiles and I shoot up my hand. They scan the concert area and Tiny lands her eyes on me.

"You. In the black crop top." My heart starts to race.

"Girl, that's you. Get up there," Tyra says. I step on the stage and I didn't waste no time singing. I wasn't tryna make a fool outta myself.

"Every man wants a woman that can always keep em' in the mood."
I sing. I pull up my shirt and start wining my waist, and the crowd goes wild.
"I'm that kind of girl, so this is what I tell my dude, I tell em' to."
I start dancing with them, since I practiced this dance, just in case moments like this actually come true.

"And every man wants a woman that ain't good for just laying on her back."
"And I'm that kind of woman."
"So before me and my man get in the sack, I tell him to."
And when I sang that part, the crowd starts going wild.

"Hol up, stop the music. Girl you tryna outshine me. What's your name?" Kandi asks me. I giggle.
"My name is Zara." And from that, my life completely changed.
