Hello, I greet you on a very, very cold day. You heard right! Where I live it's the rainy season. Go tropics! It's like our winter but not really. I'm not sure how the weather system works here, it's kinda complicated. So . . . is anyone willing to trade places with me? No? Okay, I don't blame you, I wouldn't want to trade places with me either!
Thankfully, though, I have these awesome wattpad books to make me feel like I'm on a sunny beach somewhere, sipping on my tenth pina colada instead of actually being wrapped in a warm blanket as I shiver for my dear life.
Anyway, I selected these books not only because of their transporting abilities, but also because of their amazing writing style and quality which is always something I look at.
Be sure to check out these stories and let me know what you think!
Fleeting and Forever by ninyatippett – This is an amazing story by an equally amazing writer. It follows the story of a YA author and a rich playboy (I don't know about you, but that is literally my wildest dreams come to life!). It's a beautiful billionaire romance with characters and descriptions that seem to leap off the page. It takes place in the fictional city of Cobalt Bay, California.
Here's the description:
Young Adult author Aiko Bradley wants some worldly experience and who better to teach her than the worldliest of men-Maximilian Croft?
From his daredevil stunts to his decadent affairs, Max is everything a perfect heartbreaker should be-one that Aiko might enjoy but will never fall for.
Dainty innocents aren't Max's cup of tea-even those with a tart tongue and scalding honesty. Involving Aiko in his life will break more than just her heart but can he walk away before his own heart shatters?
They play games and make no promises but when dangers outside of their stubborn hearts threaten the fleeting, will they find the courage to fight for forever?
Burning Moon by JoWatson_101 - A fun romantic comedy about a woman who gets jilted by the groom on her wedding day but ends up finding true love where she least expects it. It's a destination romance and makes for a great beach read. The spin-off to the book, After the Rain is just as great. There's a published version of Burning Moon, so let's all support the author and buy the book too!
Here's the summary:
Being left at the altar in front of 500 wedding guests may lead to irrational behavior, causing you to go on your honeymoon alone. Other side-effects may include very bad hair, getting arrested, setting yourself on fire, landing on a "Missing Poster" with the same bad hair and unexpectedly falling in love.
Paper Sails by EmSlough - This is a summer romance set in the small town of Oceana about an eighteen-year-old girl who falls in love with a modern day pirate! How cool is that?!
Here's the summary:
Eighteen-year-old Nari Queens plans to spend the entirety of her summer scooping ice cream at her brother Elliot's ice cream shop Sweet Treats and finding that elusive sense of home in the small town Oceana.
Enter self-proclaimed pirate, Ace O'Malley. When Nari catches him frequenting the boats docked near the shop, she takes it upon herself to get him off the docks, offering him the chance to redeem himself: She won't call the police, if he spends the rest of the summer helping her out at Sweet Treats.
From there stems a summer that neither of them expected. Secrets are revealed, stories shared, hardships relived; and adventures taken. Between them grows an unlikely bond––a love that hints at the guarantee of forever.
But if Nari knows one thing for sure, it's that love is fragile, and if you're not careful, it just might break.
Holding Onto You by UnsinkableShips – Although, this is not a summer romance I just had to add it. It's a long distance kind of romance and the suspense in the story makes it all the more exciting.
Here's the summary:
When Helena finds a phone on the night train, she decides to text the first number in the list of contacts in order to figure out who it belongs to.
