Cheshire's grin was as wide and as genuine as ever as she stared down at the city below her as sinister idea rose to the surface in her sick and twisted head. She threw her claws out at the world around her and cackled loudly.

"Murphy, I want to be entertained." She informed her blue friend, who watched her with a confused expression. "I want to be excited. I want to feel the adrenaline rush through my veins as chaos bursts into flames around me." She paused. She gasped.

"Cheshire?" Murphy questioned his insane friend. After the run in with their old group, Cheshire hasn't exactly been herself. She's more isolated and quiet than usual, so when she suddenly says she wants to be entertained... it's never a good sign. "Cheshire?"

She turned to him abruptly and laughed again. "Flames...chaos... flaming chaos." She said slowly. "Chaos... bursting into flames." She stared up at the sky like she just as a stroke of genius. "Flames... Murphy!" She shouted and threw her claw at him. He jumped, startled by her sudden outburst. "Want to burn the city with me?"

"W-What?" Murphy asked her. Burn the city? What did she mean by that, he had no clue. But he was about to find out.

"I realized what would entertain me." She gestured to the quiet city below her. "I want to burn the city. I want to watch the city burn, from the skylights on top of the world. Till there's nothing left. I want to watch the city burn. The city looks so pretty," She turns to him fully and holds out her claw, "do you want to burn it with me?"

And burn the city did. Gasoline and fireworks. Matches and torches. Anything that she could use to burn the city, she used. The trees were used as torches. The streets were flooded with corpses

And as she towered above the city, the same flames that engulfed the buildings danced in her eyes.

Murphy chuckled and rested his hand on her boney shoulder. She turned and grinned before facing the burning city once more, she sighed. "The city looks so pretty... let's burn something else now."

Murphy smiled and watched the city for a small while longer before turning to Cheshire. "Anything you want, Cheshire."

"Are you sure about this Cheshire?" Murphy questions her worriedly as he stares at the abandoned party store across from him. He'd do anything and give anything to Cheshire that she desired. A new knife, delicious food, a comfy bed, a roof over her head, but this. Is something that he's not comfortable with, at all.

Sure, they're going to lead the Z's out of the story before they go in. But what if they don't get all the Z's? What if they're some who are stuck and don't get free till there's food right beside them?

Cheshire's still human, she's not one a blend. If she was, then she wouldn't be interesting anymore and she wouldn't act on impulse. Cheshire's impulses have saved Murphy many times before, and he doesn't want to risk losing his or her life now.

Which is why raiding a party store- Actually, excuse me. A costume/party store, apparently, is a bad idea to him. Too many whacko's could be hiding here and ready to pounce at any moment. He can't always be there to protect Cheshire, no matter how much he tries he just can't.

"Come on, slow poke!" Cheshire says, literally shaking Murphy out of his panicking mindset and back into reality. "I've already killed the Z's!"

Murphy eyes widen when he noticed the dead Z's that are sprawled out across the cracked pavement around him, all with fresh blood pooling out of them. He didn't even notice her killing them, or the Z's period. How can he protect her, if he didn't even notice her violently killing the Z's.
