The family had fallen asleep peacefully. Tuga didn't want to. He wanted to stay up and guard his family instead. Rtas Vadum noticed that he would not be able to stay up another night without sleeping. Tuga hadn't slept a month, almost two. Even though Sangheili were trained to not get as tired as easily, just like anyone, they have their limits.
Tuga gently hugged his wife, not wanting to hurt their un-born child. Their adopted daughter, Lola, was happily asleep in her bed.
Luckily by now, everyone had landed before they went to bed. Tuga felt Vahe kind of curl into a ball. Which she normally didn't do that.
Before he could do anything else, a sudden loud noise was heard.
