**Amendment 9: Family and Close Friends?** Chapter 12

One week and 3 days later.

"Hello?" Shanti answered her phone.

"Shanti where you at? I been blowing up your phone and looking for you girl!"

"Ashley, im fine." Shanti said not caring that she was calling for her.

"WHERE THE FUCK ARE YOU SHANTI?" Ashley yelled.

"Im safe. It's no ones business where im at."

"Shanti you my sister and my blood. I gives a fuck bout you." Ashley said softly.

"I love you baby girl."

Ashley blew a kiss through the phone. "Well I want you to come to Stanley and Staletta's summer party. I havnt seen you in a long ass time and I wanna vibe with you."

"They have some banging ass parties. I'm down to slide over there." Shanti smiled.

"What you plan on wearing?"

"It's a little cold, so Ima wear my cotton-material black, long-sleeve mini dress, with my fury knee-high boots. My hair is in Brazilian Human Hair with some blonde-golden streaks." Shanti was looking through her closet.

"Damnn. Im wearing dark blue skinny ripped jeans, timberland boots with the 4 inch heels and a white sleeveless shirt with a jean jacket that match my jeans. My hair is in bob."

"Well shit! What color?"

"Black on the right. Blonde on the left. Its like half and half. People say I look like a sexy ass ghetto girl with this hair style."

"It damn well sound like it. I cant wait to see you. What time it start?" Shanti asked.

"Lol, you funny. Party start at 7:00pm."

"Okay. I guess I'll see you soon. Bye."

"Yeah." Ashley hung up the phone.

Ashley was back at home taking a shower to head to the party. Crystal walked into Ashley's bathroom and open the shower curtain to get the face wash.

"Mama can I hold your body lotion when I get out?" Ashley asked.

"Yeah. Hurry up though." Crystal said leaving the bathroom. 15 minutes later Ashley stepped out the bathtub, dried herself, and went in her room. After putting on her panties and bra, her mom walked in.

"Here. Who party you going to?" Crystal asked sitting on her bed by her outfit.

"Stanley and Staletta." Ashley replied.

"Oh. Don't get drunk and don't get high baby."

" I won't mama. I never do." Ashley said taking off her shower cap and putting on her chain.

"Good. What time you coming home?"

"Probably around 12:00am or 1:00am. If not,earlier than that." She put on her mom's pineapple-coconut lotion.

"Okay."

"Where you going Ms. Wright?" Ashley turned to her mom and put on her jeans and sleeveless crop-top shirt.

"Im going out to Wet Willies with Memphis and some friends."

"Ooo mama! Turn UP!"

They both laughed. Crystal wore black and white designed high waisted tights with black stiletto heels and a half shirt with no sleeves that stop right below her breasts. She had a silver Rolex watch and a siver chain with a heart forming her name "Chrys".

"Well we leaving at 7:30, you got 20 minutes to finish up."

"Okay."

When Ashley reached the party she walked in moving her body to the beat. Ashley started looking for Shanti and noticed Meek and Shakyiah kissing in the corner. When she spotted Shanti dancing with Stanley she ran over bumping people who were in her way.
