Chapter 19

The next morning, Shanti went to her old home to see if her mom was accepting her back. Shanti was living with Davante ever since they made up. Memphis opened the door to receive a big hug from Shanti.

"I missed you." Shanti said to Memphis.

"Wassup?"

"I wanna see mama. Do you think she'll let me back in with her?"

"I hope so. Come in."

Shanti ran to Ashley's room opening the door to see Meek laying half naked in Ashley's bed. Shanti immediately blew into flames wanting to kill both of them.

"Hey. Shanti what you doing just starring at them?" Amber whispered.

Shanti dropped a tear. "What's going on? I get kicked out and this is what my own Damn family do to me?"

"Shan come here." Amber grabbed her arm and pulled her out the room and into hers.

"Shanti when I tell you this, I don't want you to go crazy. I don't want you to go fighting them or killing them. I really just want you to keep calm and please listen."

Shanti shook her head getting ready for the shit Amber had to say.

"Ashley might be pregnant... with Meek."

Shanti eyes widened and her heart sank to her stomach. Flames filled in her eyes and her face turned red.

"Shanti don't do nothing. I know it's fucked up but keep your calm."

Shanti breathed in and out slowly and closed her eyes. Another tear dropped after another.

"Does she know?" she asked.

"Yes. Auntie Crystal know."

"Is she getting kicked out?" she opened her eyes.

"No. She's okay with it."

Shanti quickly got up and ran out  the house. Amber followed.

"FUCKKK!!“ Shanti screamed walking with no destination.

"Shanti!" Amber called out.

"Leave me alone! Just go! GO Amber! I don't care! I don't give a fuck! Just leave me alone!" Shanti yelled crying.

Shakyiah saw her going crazy and waited to go to her after she was done being all dramatic and shit. She walked over to her smoking a Black & Mill.

"Baby girl?" Shakyiah said.

Shanti looked at her.

"Wassup with all the screaming and yelling. Yo ass bout to get shot waking up these thugs and they bitches and shit."

"You know where Meek at?" Shanti asked.

"Nah. He neva came back home yesterday after talking business with yo sister."

"There's a chance that Meek got my sister pregnant. And right now he layed up with my sister, in her bed, in my mama house, half naked. Now tell me if I should be pissed the fuck off or calm?" Shanti said.

"What the fuck? Hell nah, I don't believe that bullshit."

"Well it's true. My cousin was there when it went down and she told me."

Shakyiah was speechless.

Back at home, Amber walked in the house and went to Ashley's room.

"Ashley wake up." Amber said.

"What?"

"Take the pregnancy test."

Ashley unwrappeded herself from Meek's arm and went to the bathroom. She peed on the stick and waited 15 minutes in the bathroom half asleep by herself.
