Ch 2: Earth

               I opened my eyes. I could feel light breeze on my face. We were here! We were finally on earth! Everyone unlocked their seat belts. It made a satisfying click sound. They headed toward the dropship door. I did the same. We all cheered and tried to push the door down. A guard, I suppose was standing next to the door. He told us to line up against each other, hoping the force of us, might push open the door.
A girl uttered "Stop, the air could be toxic.
            "If the air is toxic we are all dead anyway", exclaimed the guard.
The droship finally swung across our faces into the ground. It made a soft, thud like sound. I was sweating like hell. The dropship with filled with crowded people, which made it even worse for me to breathe. I let the fresh air surround me. It felt so good. I was breathing real air for once. The breeze flew pices of my hair to the back of my face.
"We're back bitches"! Octavia shouted throwing her hands up in the air.
            Octavia and I were friends, atleste that's what I thought. After I was arrested, i realized her cell was right next to mine. I'd heard about her. They all called her "The girl under the floor". The cell I was in, had a hole in its wall. The hole in the wall was also connected to Octavia's cell. First few days when I was in the cell, we kept staring at each other. Slowly day after day we began to talk. Not alot, just a few sentences. Then, she told me her story. How she ended up as a prisoner, about her brother, Bellamy Blake, and how her mother was floated.
            I stepped out of the dropship. I couldn't stop looking at the forest, the trees, the water.. I bent down and touched the dirt. I pressed my fingers into damp mud. I started playing with it. Suddenly a lady bug crawled up on my hand. I admired it. It was so beautiful. It was red and black. It had polka dots over it. I sounded like I hadn't seen one before. That's because I never had.
              Everyone was still cheering and enjoying the moment. Except a few of them got right on task. I walked up to Octavia, hoping she'd tell me what she was up to. Maybe I could join her, or not. I've always been a afraid anyway. I stared at her, wishing she would end the awkwardness between us.
           "Hey! What you up to?" I exclaimed finally ending the silence.
           "Oh Hey Anna! Fancy seeing you here." She joked poking my shoulder.
          "I'm just checking out the scenery. Then maybe I might go hunting." She smiled
           "You know how to hunt? I come with?..Maybe" I said with confusion.
           "Yes, in fact let's go right now then!" She said with exitement as she picked up a bow and arrow.
