"Look, Emperor Shawn, what Lilac is trying to say is that he wants to see the world again. It has been years ever since he experienced being out there, and, he's getting tired of doing this job. Also, on the contract, it says that once in a while, Lilac or whoever who signed it can have a break for a month. So, please hear me out. Please give in."

"Is this true?" He glanced at Lilac.

Lilac nodded.

"Fine, you peasant win..." I'm starting to get angry at him for calling me a peasant, but I still have to keep trying to seem courtly. It was kind of hard though. "Lilac will get to have a break for a month. ONLY a month. Got that?"

Lilac, again, nodded happily. But one problem- where is he going to stay?

"I will retrieve him from you hooligan in thirty days. Now, good bye." He started walking away will his guards. But then he paused. "You peasant seem like you had a bad childhood, didn't you?" A smile seemed to be glued on his faced. I'm starting to feel suspicious.

And finally, he left.

"Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!!" Lilac thanked me a million times. He jumped up on me. I'm glad to see his smile again. But where is he going to stay? We kept on hugging. It was a warm, soft hug. I felt so glad he was happy. "Hey, I was thinking, making I can stay at your house for a while... Let's say, a month!" He winked... I think...

I agreed to this idea since, I was the closest person on Earth that was friendly enough. But one problem, my mom hates animals. Cats mostly. And I think Lilac is part cat or something. I mean, what's to hate about cats? They're cute and cuddly and soft- basically adorable.

Before we left the crystal caverns, Lilac said something that stopped me. "No one can know I'm the Guardian of the Two Worlds. So, I don't want anyone to see me, unless they can keep me a secret."

"So what do we do now? Or what do you do?"

"I need to fit in somehow... I need to transform into a human."
