Haley's P.O.V.
I felt a shooting pain in my ankle. I felt dizzy, like my head was spinning in circles. I was on the ground, my legs scattered over each other. I heard Kylie scream something, but I couldn't hear, I felt like I couldn't breathe, or hear or see. I looked down at my throbbing ankle. The pointy heel of my shoe was stabbed in my other ankle, and blood was everywhere. I could tell I was losing a lot of it, because I was no unconscious.
Kylie's P.O.V.
The paramedics came seconds later. They carried Haley on a stretcher, and ushered her out of the room. I screamed, and ran behind her, but I felt someone grab my wrist. "Kylie! You can't go after her, darling! We have to start soon!" Ann calmly said.
What? My best friend was going to the emergency room, and I had to stay here? Ann read my mind.
"Don't worry, sweetheart. She'll be okay. Just a couple of stitches, and your friend will be all cleared up! But meanwhile, I'd rather have you on my magazine than no one at all!"
I nodded, breathing in and out.
She dragged me onto the platform where the backdrop was, and then sat on the chair next to the cameras and the photographer. He told me to lay down, so I plopped down on my stomach, and put my feet in mid-air.
The photographer cracked a couple of jokes, which made me laugh, which I guess was a good way to get pretty photos. I snuck a look at Ann, who was on her chair, watching as the pictures converted from the camera to a small screen. She nodded in approval, smiling.
I smiled back. Then it was time to change outfits. This time I wore a red Urban Outfitters skirt which ended at the mid-thigh in the front, and slowly started to become longer at the back. It was really pretty. For a top, I wore a white bustier top which was cutout in the back, so you could see my bare skin in the back of the top. It was also from Urban Outfitters. For shoes, I wore a pair of black lace Jimmy Choo wedges. To spice and 'hipster' up the look, I had been given a normal black bowler hat, which was on top of my still wavy hair.
It looked cute and casual, even though I'm not sure if I would ever wear this out in public.
It took 5 trips up and down the elevator for the whole crew and their equipment to make their way outside. There, I just took pictures in a park right down the street. It looked like an open zoo, a free environment. There was dead grass everywhere, and but the surroundings made the whole place very calm and soothing.
There, we took a lot of pictures, and we made our way out of the park and went into an old-style café. Like the kinds that have the black and white checkered floors, and the waitresses wear poodle skirts and roller skates as part of their uniforms.
They gave me a milkshake, and told me to sip on it at the bar, and smile at the camera.
It was finally finished. Ann allowed me to take a peek at the photographs, and they looked gorgeous. I looked like a model. Like I belonged there. The pictures showed my personality and had a long story behind them, even though they were just plain photos. Now was the interview.
I was instructed to sit down on Ann's chair, so I did. I waited a couple of seconds until a girl came in, carrying a notepad. Behind her was a man that carried a huge camera. He placed it down right in front of us so most of the angle was concentrating on me, and the girl hopped up on athechair right in front of me, and just smiled.
I smiled back, not knowing what to say. "Hello, Kylie. I'm Ashley, and I will be doing your interview today."
I waved. "Nice to meet you."
She giggled, and scribbled something on her notebook. I frowned, scrunching my eyebrows but then shrugged it off.
She nodded and pointed over to the camera guy, who clicked a few buttons on his camera. There was now a red blinking circle on the corner of the camera which told me it was recording.
"So, Kylie. You looked absolutely gorgeous yesterday while you were out. Do you always dress like this?"
I kept my smile, as Harry had told me to do. "Thank you! Well, actually it depends. If it's like a night out, like it was yesterday, then yes, I'll dress up. But if it's just like a normal day where I have to go to the grocery store to buy something or whatever, I'll just be casual and wear sweats and a jacket."
She nodded, smiling. "So, I understand you were out with your boyfriend yesterday for dinner and a movie?"
"Um, yes. Well, it was the whole band, and Haley and I."
"Yes, of course. What was your reaction to being an overnight hit?"
"Well, it wasn't exactly overnight. I had like a thing with Zayn a little before, and people started to know me from then, but, ya I guess I kind of got famous with the Harry thing."
"Kind of famous? Kylie, when Harry posted that video on twitter, millions, almost billions, of people saw it! You're just as famous as your boyfriend now!" She exclaimed.
I blushed. Maybe she was over exaggerating. I wasn't as famous as my boyfriend. Of course I wasn't.
"And after people saw you yesterday looking absolutely stunning and fashionable, they started liking you even more!"
I didn't answer, I didn't know what to say. Ashley must have understood because she went right in with her next question. Hopefully it was going to be a different subject.
"So, how do you feel about being on the cover of next month's Seventeen issue?"
"It feels absolutely amazing. A couple of years, or even months ago, I would have never imagined this would ever happen."
Ashley nodded. I was still smiling. I was good!
"So now that you have the opportunity, do you think you'll try acting or singing?"
"I've actually thought about it, yes. I love acting, I've wanted to have it as my career for as long as I can remember. But I don't know about singing. It seems just like that one thing I do in the shower, not something I would my career out of." I joked.
She laughed, and I heard the camera man chuckle. "Okay, but you do realize that after this people are gonna propose you jobs, right?"
"Really? Then I guess you'll be seeing me on the big screen soon!" I laughed.
"One last question."
"Yes?"
"Who is your female celebrity crush?"
"Um... Miley Cyrus. Definitely. She's absolutely gorgeous."
Ashley wrote in her notebook, and quickly snapped it shut. The camera man went over to his camera, and turned it off. We both jumped off our chairs, and shook hands.
"It was nice meeting you, Kylie."
"You too. Excuse me, I have to go."
Ann had given me the information about when the magazine would be released and stuff, so I was allowed to go. All I wanted to do now was check on Haley. I ran to the elevator, and when it opened in the lobby, I was blinded.
