Holding Hands [OLD]

Part 2- The Explanation.

*Rubys POV*

I reply with a, "What do you want?!" And she just looked at me dead in the eye for a few seconds and then all of the sudden burst out laughing. I nervously laughed along and she gave me a slight shove. "Watch it!" I shouted and backed away. Jasper lifted my chin up while looking down at me. "I know you like that girl that was late to class. What was her name again..? Oh yes, Sapphire. I could see it in your eyes." My eyes widend, and i began to shout. "What the hell, i have never even thought of her that way befo-" She cut me off and said, "Desperate lies of a freshman."

I laughed at Jasper and replied. "Whatever, i dont like her." I walked off, and didn't look back.As i walked i began thinking. "What if i do like her?" I blushed at my own comment and shook it off. "Nah." I sighed and finally arrived to my house and went to bed.

×Sapphires POV×

I walked myself home. I was getting dressed into my sleepwear and stared at the cuts on my wriists and bruises on my legs. "Why..?" I said to myself. "Im glad swimming doesn't start until a day or two.." I began to tear up and went to bed after changing. I cried myself to sleep.

I woke up in the morning and suddenly began to think about Ruby. "Sh-She actually cared about me..." I got into my uniform and walked to school. I bumped into someone and fell. "Ow.." I looked up and it was Ruby. She was holding her hand out to me.

*Rubys POV*

I held my hand out to Sapphire. "Oh my stars, im so sorry!" I said in a concerned voice. "I-I didn't mean to, i swear!" I blushed a darker red on my face. She smiled and got up. She brushed her uniform off a little bit and replied, "No worries, im fine." She blushed a bit aswell. "So, about yesterday.. Im genuinly worried about you." I said in a concerned voice. Sapphire sighed and told me to meet her in the locker room during lunch. We both agreed on it. We walked to school together.

Meanwhile, i went to my locker and greeted Pearl again. "Hello Pearl, good morning!" I said and waved at her. She waved back and smiled. "Morning!" We started to talk until she was inturupted by Amethyst. One of Jassholes lackies. Amethyst began to speak, "Oh its you..." i forced a smile and laughed nervously. "Anyways, hi Pearl!" I waved and went back to my locker. I walked to homeroom class and sat in my seat.

Sapphire walked into the class room and the teacher teased her, "Little baby sapphire is on time! How wonderful!" She said sarcastically. Sapphire looked at her with the 'Gtfo' Face and sat next to me.

*Time skip*

×Sapphires POV×

I walk into the locker room and put on my gym shorts and the school phisical education tanktop. "Ruby should be here in a few minutes since i get luch five minutes before her.." I whisper to myself and begin to tear up. "I-Im so scared.." I sat on the bench in the locker room. And began to cry a bit.

*Rubys POV*

I walk in and hear sniffles. "Sapphire? Is that you?" I walk in and see her on the bench. I sit next to her and wipe the tears off of her face. "Whats wrong?" I ask. She stands up and walks in front of me facing me. I scan her body and see bruises and cuts everywhere. Including her wrist.

My eyes widen and i look at her. "Sa-Saphire! Did you do this to yourself?" I began to tear up. "Some of it.." She said in a quiet voice. "What do you mean? Someone else did some of it to you?" She said in a sad voice, "W-Well.. sometimes Jasper and her gang like to..." She cries, "Beat me up.." I look scared for her. "Sapphire!" I cry with her and pull her in for a long hug. I whisper in her ear, "I will be here for you from now on." She pulls away from the hug. "So what about the other things, that Jasper didnt do?" I started to think that she self harmed." She cried more and pointed at the cuts on her arms and hips. "I-I did it to myself..." Her voice cracked.

"Sapph..." I stared at her. "Your georgeous. Dont do that to your self..." I saw her blush "You really think so..?" She said "Yes, absolutly..." I said as she blushed a dark blue. She thanked me and hugged me. She told me to wait at a table so we can chat at the last fifteen minutes of luch and maybe eat a snack. I waited and she got back in her uniform. She sat next to me and we chatted.
