"Okay... so you have everything?" my mom asked for the millionth time.

"Yes ma, I got it" I replied, rolling my eyes. I was just grabbing my jacket to leave the house when she pulLed me into a hug.

"Be safe, be wise with your money, and most of all remember," she held my face in her hands, "Jesus loves you."

"Mom, I know. It'll only be a month! And I'll practically be seventeen when I get there!" I rolled my massive suitcase and my three carry-ons.

"I know Aleah but you just have to remember not to trust strangers or--" I cut her off.

"Mom..." I hissed. She just nodded as we got into the car. The whole way she kept talking about safety, and money and strangers and all that good stuff.

Meanwhile, I was freaking out. I remember the day like it was yesterday: I was at dance. I dance for a ballet studio that is far too overpriced and is pretty small. But, if you wanted to be trained like a professional dancer: my studio was the place to be.

"Hey Aleah...?" I turned to my friend Anya, who had just put on her pointe shoes.

"Yea?"

"So presale for One Direction's 2013 Arena tour goes on sale tomorrow...do you want me to try and get you tickets?" My eyes widened.

"Oh my gosh! Of course!" I answered automatically.

"Okay, but don't get too excited, I might not even get tickets. The odds of Alaskan Directioners getting tickets are pretty small. So if I come to ballet tomorrow and I'm really happy then you know why. And if not...then, well yea," I nodded as I went to go fill my water bottle

"Okay" After dance, I told another one of my friends, Rachel about it. I knew exactly what would happen if I told her...but come on, I had to brag.

"ALEAH YOU BETTER GET ME TICKETS," so I asked and of course, Anya said yes.

The next day was terrible. I had just found out that a close family friend had just died and I really wasn't feeling well. The whole warm up I was trying not to cry  and most of all, I was trying not to look at Anya. The only thing that would truly make me go into tears is finding out that I didn't get a ticket. I glanced over at her and she seemed normal, like she wasn't even hiding a secret. We made eye-contact and I looked away. Next thing I knew someone was next to me.

"Hey," Anya said.

"Hey..." I made sure not to look at her.

"What's up?"

"Today's just not a good day...it's just..." I looked up at her and she was suppressing a grin,

"Is it really though? Is it really a bad day?"

"I'm not going to ask..." I wasn't sure I wanted to hear. Anya kept a grin the whole class until I finally turned around to face her.

"Did you get tickets?"

She bit her lip and nodded. I was jumping up and down like a crazy fangirl. Of course, things don't always go as planned. Anya couldn't go on the 28th of July like we planned so she bought tickets for another concert. My brain sparked an idea and I quickly bought the extra ticket from her and gave it to my friend Katie as a birthday present at the beginning of June as a surprise.

"Oh wow..." Katie said unenthusiastically. Jeez, she really was depressed. She coudn't even show how excited she was.

"Katie...you are holding a ticket to One Direction!" I said.

"Yep," whatever. I knew that later tonight she would be screaming into her pillow out of excitement.

Back to the present.

"Bye girls! We love you!" Rachel's mom waved. My parents and Rachel's parents stood there saying they're goodbyes while Katie's dad just simply smiled, waving.

We had gotten on the plane, all sitting next to each other, "We're gonna see One Direction. We're gonna see One Direction!" Rachel chanted.

Katie just rolled her eyes. After about 30 seconds, Rachel and Katie we're both asleep on each other and I was just laying back in my seat, my heart beating fast and huge smile on my face.

This was going to be one hell of a senior trip.
