"Okay the next question is from twitter..." Clare looked down at her phone scrolling for a long time before she started, "Oh! Okay, so a twitter fan wants to know how you three met."
"Like Aleah, Rachel, and I?" Katie asked, she nodded.
"Umm, well Katie and I go way back..." I thought back to our semi tragic childhood, "Actually, we were friends before we were born. Our mom's were best friends,"
"Still are," Katie added, then went silent.
"Yea, and we were supposed to be born on the same day but,"
"My mother couldn't wait," Katie slightly hissed. If you knew Katie, then you knew that she despised her mom. Worse yet, she was totally fine with telling anyone.
"Yea, were best friends until we were doing a traveling musical around the state, I got homesick and called my parents to come get me. Needless to say, her mom was pissed and didn't let us talk to each other until about three, almost four years later. It was kinda a blur. I swear, this girl" I pinched Katie's cheek and she flinched but laughed, "used to be a bundle of fun."
"Anyways, shit happened and custody stuff before I finally got to go to school for the first time,"
"High school!" I clapped.
"So you'd never been to school before?" they gasped.
"Socially awkward am I," Katie saluted.
"What about Rachel?" someone yelled.
"Oh, right! So in middle school I met a group of people that Rachel used to hang out with, but I didn't really know her until freshman year. We were put into the same choir and we didn't know anybody else so we kinda bonded. Then sophomore year, Katie came and we sorta clicked. We even made a youtube," I started but Katie was moving her hand over her throat in a slicing movement.
"A youtube what?"
"You guys made a youtube video?" Clare asked. I looked at Katie and we nodded. Everyone pulled out their phone and began searching.
"I knew I should have taken it down..." Katie muttered.
"What's the video of?"
"Ironic a bit, but it's a... One Direction Mash Up." All they girls had glorious looks on their faces and some laughed and other rolled their eyes.
"First mash up, contrary to belief," Katie said.
"So you guys sing?"
"Please don't make us," Katie pleaded.
"Yea..."
"Omg!" someone screamed. Everyone looked to where the girl had found our video. Shit. "I FOUND IT I FOUND IT" she screeched like she had the golden ticket to the boys pants. All the directioners and no doubt directionators too ran to get a look. Katie and I were alone now.
"I knew we should have redone that video!" Katie hissed. "Now the whole world will know how bad I sing."
"Shut it, Beyonce. You sing like a goddess," I muttered, "I sounded like a man in it!"
"Well, at least you're going to Broadway with that man voice!"
"Only if I make it to my college okay? As soon as I get home, its back to work for me so that I can get to where I want to go," I said. "You know this trip was a side thing, but when I get home I have to train my voice to love me."
"Aleah?" Katie said.
"What?"
"The twitcams still on," I looked down and saw that she was right. Over 500,000 viewers were freaking out. The tramp trio could sing. Fuck. I waved and realized that Clare was being nice with the questions. The reason why she took so long to find questions was because the rest of the questions were horrid.
God, they're so ugly
Why haven't you committed suicide yet?
Beyonce? Why don't you show us, bitch!
Who do they think they are? "A side thing." WHO DO THEY THINK I AM?
I hate the tramp trio
That had now become our identifier and it was trending too.
If this chick thinks she can make it on Broadway, then I can become the president.
"You know what?" I looked at the camera, "You're right. I'm just chasing a dream that will never be. But you want to know something? I'm a sprinter." I smiled sweetly and leaned back into my seat. Katie snickered and looked away quickly before I could glare at her. Whatever, so I'm cheesy.
Everyone came back with mummers and a lot more questions.
"Wow, did you guys come up with that on your own?" Clare asked.
"Yup" Katie said.
"When?"
"We made it in the summer but we were working on it during sophomore year."
My phone buzzed for the bazillionth time. I ignored it. Then I got a call from Zayn. I decided to take it and I held up one finger and answered it.
"Hello?"
"Give the phone to Clare," Zayn said calmly. There was an underlining tone to his voice that I couldn't identify but it scared me. I blew it. I fucked things up like I always to. One Direction was going to dump us all on the back porch like trash. They're not going to want anything to do with us. If only we had stayed up stairs. I gave the phone to Clare and she looked at me questioningly.
"Zayn," I swallowed. all the girls screamed and reached for the phone but I took it away until Clare came out of her daze and reached her hand out. I gave her the phone and she barely got out the word 'Hi'
"Oh...okay, yea I'll tell them," Clare looked up at us. Katie and I probably looked like puppy dogs, "They said they're going to be asking the questions now."
